Lufia 2 character hype is that two characters get in an actual relationship instead of just staring longingly at each other.
I guess that makes sense. I guess they did try some buildup before the marriage scene too, but... eh. I got the feeling they tossed Tia out of the picture in a really weird way too.

Also, Maxim is really unimpressive as a JRPG main. Guy sucks even more though.

Whew, it's been too long.

Lufia 2 - Just got the ship. Really don't see the character hype this game gets, they are all incredibly dull / bland. Gameplay is better than I remember.
Legend of Dragoon - Got Rose. Item casting pretty much breaks the game. Funny how the only character without the Addition gimmick is MVP so far.

Hey Zenny. Our family had a cancer situation this year and thankfully everything worked out fine. Hoping everything gets sorted out over there too.

Stay well.

I only played Returns and I thought it was a nice little game (putting some emphasis on little here though - the game is ultra short). The other versions might be worth a look too.

INTP here as well. This test is becoming more and more popular here in Brazil with Human Resources professionals - but you need a license (and it is as expensive as it sounds) to use it commercially.

Gourry validates this, guys. It is now Truth. Magna Carta Worst RPG.

It's not the kind of game that's going to get 0/10 ratings everywhere, but trust us, it's definitely the worst.

Couldn't possibly agree more.

Fenrir is back, wow.

Played Atelier Rorona for one hour or so and not sure I want to continue.

Pretty well on this end. Christmas was good! You still in Rio?

Still living in Rio, but going constantly to wherever the company needs me to go. We're creating a training schedule for some employees that are envolved with technical jobs and I also need to create a communication channel with all the universities in the country. I already mapped them, now I need to VISIT them. ;_;

Heya Snow, nice to know you're still around too.

11
Much more than I'd like to, actually.

How are you guys doing?

12
Corporate life SUCKS.

13
Still alive. I really need to stick around.

EDIT: Bobbin Cranbud is a member now? Wow, I really missed a lot.

14
I quit my job this week. Best decision I made this year.

It seems the dungeon is accessible after you beat the game, but it's something that gets unlocked by the game's engine instead of requiring you to play it all over again. I'd probably allow it.

Got this item list from the DS CT board on GameFAQs. Not sure if it's complete or how legal they are. Items on yellow seem to have some degree of usefulness in the DL.

Illusion causes non-elemental magical damage and makes some enemies run away. I don't have it maxed yet, so I can't say how good it is.

The attempt happens 100% of the time, even against bosses, it seems. Odds of it actually working are around... 50% or so? Both skills have different names, so the odds might be different. Lots of monsters are immune to it though.

Marietta's DimenExtract is an instant death attack that only works on spirit enemies.

You're also missing Norn's Illusion skill.

Atelier Iris - Finished. Fun game, but it suffers from bad design too much for its own good. Mana/Item Synthesis is an interesting concept, but it gets pretty boring at times. Too much fetch quests. A sucky ending. Horrible sidequest system. There is definitely room for improvement, and I hope the next games fixed those problems. Probably gets a 7/10 from me.

As for the characters:

-Klein: Best item boy ever. His Mana Items are incredibly broken after you get Power Item. Good for damage, healing AND utility, but his bad speed and defense force him to baby himself with Mana Jars too often in the beginning. Gets much better later on.
In the DL, he is a Heavy. Plenty of status effects, stat uppers and downers, healing and good damage.

-Lita: MVP. Don't ever bother using the Mana Heal machine you get: right after you lose the Ruby Prism, get her into Pale Wing state, stack your power boosting equips on her, add Popo as a Mana equip and start spamming Drop Kick. I'm pretty sure I' ve OHKOed some bosses with that.
In the DL, she is also a Heavy. Her excellent speed (coupled with Fast Attack and Alluring Bikini's Charm effect) allows her to use Pale Wing right at the beginning, and Dodge kinda helps her with the bad durability.

-Delsus: I didn't find him that useful in-game. Bad speed and lacks damage for almost 90% of the game. His MP doesn't allow you to spam Spirit Blast without wasting items, and his passive techs, while interesting, are not nearly as effective as just plain killing the opponents before they act.
In the DL... not sure where he lands, but he is not bad. The counters and negative status effects translate very well.

-Norn: Her durability is incredibly bad, but she is pretty good on most of the other fields. I don't know how good her damage with Illusion is yet, but Telekinesis criticals pretty often and Turn 2 Candy and Sleep work very well by the end of the game. Also excellent speed. I think her DL strategies will be very similar to how she functions in-game.

-Marietta: When she joins you overlevelled, she is great. Later on... not so much. Gameworst damage and speed, incredibly dull techs and a lightning-based physical aren't helping her either in-game or in a duel. She takes damage well, and I guess Healing and Erotic Bikini's Charm effect saves her in Light, but she is nothing special.

Some extra info:

-Lita gets a Sylvan Ring if you complete the White Flower sidequest in Duran. Not unique, but clearly intended for her. It's pretty useless though (+12 Mana, +24 Fire RES and +56 Dark RES).

-If Lita and Marietta are equipped with Alluring Bikini and Erotic Bikini, they will attempt to Charm the enemy before the fight starts. If it connects, they basically get a free turn. Since Marietta is slow and has bad damage, that helps her a lot.

Atelier Iris - Still playing this, very slowly. Arlin left and I got Marietta, who seems to be a fine replacement for now. Her healing spell is kinda dissapointing, though. As for the rest of the party:

-Klein is fun. Probably the best item boy ever.
-Lita is still MVP. If I cared about Mana Crystals, she'd probably butcher the game.
-Norn is... surprisingly effective, against bosses or randoms.
-Delsus needs more damage. I'm probably doing something wrong with him.

Atelier Iris - Got the Water Mana (Nymph).

Is there any reason for using Mana healing on Lita? She is a complete beast with her grown wings so far, even without MP.

Of course she beats the game, it's already easy enough without taking her rune combos into account.

And she gets access to those much earlier than most of the other characters.

There is a picture from the opening scene that shows some of the SoD lying around, apparently dead. It seems they were ambushed in their HQ.

Well, yeah, in a group, what's his face from Rohan with the spear isn't that great. But he's probably the best duelist because he's got what amounts to Night Sword and Dark Sword.
He's also immune to magic, IIRC. But only on absurd levels.
