Riou (Suikoden II) vs Cloud of Darkness (Final Fantasy III): Tank a Forgiver Sign -> Bad Breath.
Isolde Schelling (Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis) vs Cidolfas Orlandu (Final Fantasy Tactics): Cid wins if he both 3-2's and 3HKOs, but the 3-2 seems like something he'll just miss. Otherwise... he doesn't 2HKO Isolde so he needs to get two turns in a row or face Bunker Pillar. He can do that, but needs to Night Sword in the meantime. Thing is, I think Night Sword costs him a 3HKO? Maybe not if he equips for power... but then he doesn't 3-2. I dunno, this seems close but leaning Isolde.

Heavy

Purim (Secret of Mana) vs Celes Chere (Final Fantasy VI): Speed's a coinflip (Celes is marginally above if you assume Bard Hat defaults, marginally below if you assume Circlets), so going with the one who has MBlock in this status-off.

Middle

Cleo (Suikoden) vs Tharja (Fire Emblem Awakening): Cleo definitely wants to go for basic physicals here, fire magic both misses a lot and makes Tharja's Waste hit reliably. That said, even if she doubles Tharja (which... she probably does, she is fast), she only 4HKOs so that gives Tharja three attacks. And... due to accuracy and Cleo's magic durability, she doesn't actually 3HKO. Only hope is to go for Nosferatu, and that does eat into Cleo's damage pretty notably. And... yeah that reduces Cleo's damage to an effective 8HKO or so, before factoring in Tharja's miss rate or Vengeance, which isn't good enough.
Karsh (Chrono Cross) vs White Rose (SaGa Frontier): LightSword both gives White Rose a 2HKO and enough evade to reliably dodge a Karsh turn.

Light

Saleh (Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones) vs Mustadio Bunansa (Final Fantasy Tactics): Slayer of Eirika route PCs, Mustadio once again doubles and that pushes his damage to 3RKO while avoiding counters, Saleh doesn't 2HKO back.
Tricia (Soul Nomad & The World Eaters) vs Soren (Fire Emblem Series): Mage matchups.

S1 had critz and they're pretty frequent (Cleo's rate is ~25%), but are also baked into Cleo's damage already and don't OHKO Tharja or even come close. I suppose it's possible she gets lucky and crits twice in a row before which looks like it might just kill Tharja provided Tharja doesn't activate Vengeance in the middle, and since Tharja has bad luck this isn't crazy, but I think the overall odds are a bit too low for me (two crits at 36% each is 13%, less a bit for Vengeance activating is about ~8%).

Isolde Schelling (Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis) vs Cidolfas Orlandu (Final Fantasy Tactics)  Orlandu might be able to pull this off if his regular attack gives enough damage control to chip Isolde into killing range without triggering the Bunker Pillar triple-turn of doom.  And if he can somehow avoid dying while doing so.  Isolde has good physical defense though which hurts his chances.  Tiebreaking in favor of my own nom and RES down from Isolde though it makes an interesting clash of titans.

Heavy

Purim (Secret of Mana) vs Celes Cher (Final Fantasy VI)  Flavor vote.  Wall shuts down all of Celes' magic tricks except Vanish, which doesn't really help out, and her Cure/Protect/Haste which are handy but not decisive like imp and berserk would be.  Wall is a double-edged trick since Purim cannot heal or buff through it either.  I believe Celes has the advantage in a straight brawl but I don't think she has a status-blocker for Balloon.

Red (SaGa Frontier) vs Galcian (Skies of Arcadia)- I think Galcian just survives three shots of Re-Al Phoenix and just 2HKOs Red back. It's really close though; take Galcian's Terminal against slash defense and he misses the 2HKO. Do I do that? ...Yeah probably I do, it's an elemental physical after all. In which case he's toast, never mind!
Purim (Secret of Mana) vs Celes Cher (Final Fantasy VI)- More respect offhand.

Middle

Cleo (Suikoden) vs Tharja (Fire Emblem Awakening)
Karsh (Chrono Cross) vs White Rose (SaGa Frontier)- Karsh is owned completely by Glass Shield.

Light

Saleh (Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones) vs Mustadio Bunansa (Final Fantasy Tactics)- What in the actual fuck to Mustadio going to the finals. But here we are.
Tricia (Soul Nomad & The World Eaters) vs Soren (Fire Emblem Series)- Think the Unicorn Brigade massacre but with someone slightly less stable than Luca. Mages don't beat Tricia in light. Cheerful thought: Mustadio wants EQUIP AXE (if allowed) against Tricia. That may be a first.
