Slade (vs Blastoise)
« on: June 06, 2009, 12:39:33 AM »
Shining Force fighters have traditionally gotten abused in the arena, but Slade seems like he could be quite the exception. Blessed with a fairly swift sword and surprisingly ridiculous strength for a wire-thin little rat, Slade has an appropriate set of tools for cracking the shell of this tortoise. Raijin isn't actually lightning elemental, despite all appearances, but it IS armor-piercing, which is nearly as good in this sort of fight. Of course, even better than that, in nearly all fights, is the Gisarme--a legendary sword that can bisect full-fledged bosses and more importantly, turtles.
