Week 4 - Quarterfinals

Lamington (Disgaea) Lamington vs Profound Darkness Profound Darkness (PS4)

Fenris
I don't really care whether you're a semi-abstract being of darkness and destruction; if you sass Seraph Lamington, you become a gardener's fodder.

Lamington: 15
Profound Darkness: 12

Indalecio (SO2) Indalecio vs Kuja Kuja (FF9)

Starphoenix das Helpoemer
You see... here we have a dilemma. I mean, Indalecio spams radioactive death if you allow him with things like Earthquake, Divine Comedy I assume, and whatever else he has in his overpowered arse...nal. Kuja packs Flarestar counters, heavy magicks I assume, and presumably a speedy reaction time.

Now, the dilemma here isn't so much the fighters, but my inability to really remember both of their movelists...

Let's see, got killed by Indalecio once, but then proceeded to kill him with normal attacks...

Didn't kill Kuja with normal attacks, but I still needed to work or something to beat him...

Bleck, I'll just say Kuja and be done with it.

Indalecio: 21
Kuja: 23

The Strongest Combination
So Kuja has reflect and cure 3, and Indalecio has his limiter on?

You think it'll be hard on the Wise Man to lose to a monkey in a thong?

Teepo (BoF3) Teepo vs Chaz Ashley Chaz Ashley (PS4)

Infinity Dragon
What would you rather spend your time doing?
A) Having a date with a Goddess in her private garden with a view to kill for. Or
B) Fighting a cheesy main character who has the personality of a brick, hence making the match long and boring?

Teepo obviously took the better choice here.

Teepo: 17
Chaz Ashley: 22

Steiner, Adelbert (FF9) Steiner, Adelbert vs Fogel Fogel (OB)

Meeplelard
Steiner, after hearing of a Princess (namely Alena) getting captured by a Dragon, went off and beat said Dragon, like a noble Knight should...

Problem is, he killed the wrong Dragon, as it was Teepo who beat Alena, not Fogel. Oh well, at least he still advances to the next round.

Steiner, Adelbert: 22
Fogel: 14

Justin (G1) Justin vs Vivi Ornitier Vivi Ornitier (FF9)

Infinity Dragon
Rune Walsh was in a bad mood. His Archenemy, Justin, had made it to the semifinals, yet Rune had only made it to the semifinals as well. How could he, the most intelligent being in all RPGdom, not perform better than the Epitome of Stupidity? Determined to see Justin fail his shot at the championships, Rune decided to put his support behind Vivi.

As the match started, Vivi began feigning to prepare a spell...and Justin was hit with Rune's Legeon. Rune, thinking that Justin was too stupid to notice the difference in magical sets, and therefore would not lodge a formal inquiry into cheating by interference, had come up with this fool-proof plan. Unfortunately for him, even Legeon didn't take Justin down in one shot. Vivi, however, failed to survive a Heaven and Earth cut and the match went to Justin.

Even more surprising, Justin suddenly jumped into the air and started spinning to where Rune was seated and KO'd the arrogant man on the spot with a Midair Cut.

"I remember you using that in our bonus match! Cheater!". Justin then proceeded to hit the unconscious Rune with a snot rocket before walking out of the arena. When Rune recovered, he quickly retreated to his room ashamed and angry to have been both physically and mentally beaten by the likes of Justin.

Justin: 24
Vivi Ornitier: 19

Lord Windscar
This time, Justin really does need 2 Heaven and Earth cuts to finish off Vivi, well...he wont get to.

You see, Vivi has a thing called Pumice Piece, and that has the interesting effect of wiping out over half of Justin's HP and fully healing him with a single casting of doomsday. Lets not forget the fact that he also has Death and Stop. I dont really see Justin coming out of this match with a win.

Rand (BoF2) Rand vs Agrias Oaks Agrias Oaks (FFT)

Tylor H
All the healing in the world is useless when your opponent packs instant death. And without the means to finisher her off first, Rand eats Crush Punch and dies.

Rand: 11
Agrias Oaks: 33

Sir Chris
So, Agrias is at it again, after her dealings with Setzer she is feeling lucky

"Holy Explosion!"

Rand is all like "wtf lolol newb"

and Agrias is like "...crap..."

so the battle ensues and then...

OMG WTF RAMZA WITH THE STEEL CHAIR, NO, NOT LIKE THIS!

nah, seriously, crush punch will simply effect before Agrias dies... What can I say, I don't measure down status.

Bowser Koopa (SMRPG) Bowser Koopa vs Jacques Jacques (S3)

Meeplelard
Jacques should have learned from the LAST time he fought Bowser. And thus, in the rematch of these two, Bowser yet again wins with the infamous Butt Stomp, and Jacques realized maybe he should learn from previous mistakes...

Bowser Koopa: 27
Jacques: 12

Rikku (FFX) Rikku vs Meg Meg (Suikos)

Cmdr_King
Like most fathers, Rikku's dad wanter to see her succeed.
Thus, when Cid learned of Meg's desire to learn the ways of the Trickster, he had a stroke of brilliance. He tracked the girl down shortly before the match.
"Say, are you the one that's gonna fight my little Rikku?"
Meg nodded quickly.
"How would you like to skip the match and come aboard my Airship? I'll let you tinker with the engines..."
And thus Meg never showed up for the bout, handing Rikku the win.

Rikku: 35
Meg: 6

The Thing They Called... QUICKIE.
~Verysimplymad

superaielman
"Quickie!" The monster loomed over the fighter's heads.. and all of a sudden, shrunk back to normal. "Huh. Apparently, this thing can't hold it's uber form for long.." Alena's puzzled words echoed throughout the area, as the fighters wondered just what the hell had happened.

Heavy Losers: 23
Omni-Quickie: 12
