It seemed like team Orlandu had overcome team Loki. Rolf lay on the ground, bleeding from several places in his armour. Both Nina's were sprawled across the ground, unconscious, in compromising positions ( much to the joy of several rabid reporters ). Loki himself was hard-pressed to fight both Orlandu, Malik, Grey and Cristo beating on him at the same time. Loki was eventually knocked down...Orlandu raised Excalibur above his head...
...and at the point, the randomness of the universe stepped in. Thor, wanting to kill Loki himself, tossed a lightning bolt down at the helpless god. Oddly enough, Orlandu had raised Excalibur at that exact same moment. The bolt struck Orlandu's sword, and the electrical energy coursed throughout his veins, knocking him down. As Orlandu fell, he hit Grey who, being fully metallic himself, received the remainder of the electrical energy coursing through Orlandu's veins, taking him down too.
Cristo and Malik backed off after that. It was now Loki vs Cristo and Malik, and Loki had a plan. Grabbing a camera, he took Malik's picture, scrambling the Prophet's atoms more and more until he was reduced to a lump of coal. This left only Cristo as the remaining opponent, and Cristo was no fool. The chancellor ran out of the arena as soon as he realized he was screwed, crying "Diplomatic Immunity!" the whole way home.
Loki had beaten Orlandu, Rolf had fought valiantly for a cause he believed in, and perverts everywhere now have upskirt shots of two different Ninas. It all worked out great, for a team match.

"Hey, Chicken wuss! Prepare for No Mercy!" Seifer's braying taunt was followed by a fearless charge.
Ashley smirked, and pointed his Bayonet at Seifer. Loading a Full Clip into the gun, Ashley and fired a full clip into SeeD reject's face. The results were far from pretty, but it was effective.
"Fool. You think you're the only one who's prepared?" Ashley brushed a few stray pieces of Carrot off his hands, and considered Seifer lucky to have avoided the wrath of Knightblazer.

At first, the match seemed to be fairly even. Seifer and Ashley were trading hits and nobody had the upper-hand. That is, until Ashley used his Full Clip attack and blew Seifer to Kingdom Come.

When Seifer realized that someone had somehow switched his Gunblade with Squall's, he promptly dropped the thing and sanitized it with flaming kerosine and washed his hands in acid. Being the only one left with a weapon, Ashley won the match.
