Lambda Zellweger vs Cyril
Bardiche "So let me get this straight," Ted began, looking on confusely. "Cyril and Lambda were going to talk first." "That is correct," nodded Ursula, who had been called in to judge as a guest. "And then Lambda started weeping during their conversation." Ursula nodded again. "That, too, is correct." "And now Cyril surrendered himself into Lambda's care so that he could help Lambda bear the shame and condemnation for... saving the world?" Ted finished, more confused than ever as Lambda and Cyril started swaggering around, arms around eachother. Ursula sighed in response. "Yes, that seems to be the case." Ted facepalmed. Endora vs Riou
Tylor H The fell magics blasted through the arena, swiftly bringing low the plucky rebel leader. Looking down at the crushed, but not yet defeated foe before her, Endora held back her final spell, and cackled. "Pitiful FOOL! You dared to stand before the great and mighty Endora? Let this be the lesson to all who would challenge my dominion! Think on your worthlessness in your final moments before I crush you utterly. COWER as I decide on how best to..." Endora, engrossed in her ranting stopped as she noticed not only Riou's determined stare, defiantly meeting her eyes, but also the steady pulsing glow coming from his right hand. "Didn't you hear, the evil empire always loses!" Endora loosed her finishing spell, but Riou's light surged, shielding him from the dark magics. "Because we cannot fail those who look up to us, those who we inspire!" The light flares, surrounding them, becoming all, as within it, an image of Northwindow appears. "Because even when we're alone, our allies always give us their strength!" An image of the Two Rivers, and the stars from there standing together flickers in the light. "Because their hope is our light!" An image of a bunch of happy stars in Tinto clustered around a Gustave looking like he's going to be sick flickers in the light. "And our light shall pierce every darkness!" With a final image of sentai squirrels frolicking through green fields, the light turns into a pillar of purest white blasting Endora who, with a final cry of "So... wholesome... it burns... it BURNS!!!", perished. In the quiet of the stunned crowd, Shu nodded briskly after finishing his speech and left Riou to receive the accolades. After all, it was Riou's job to stand there, use his Rune, and claim the credit for Shu's victories, after all. Endora: 10 
Rolf Landale vs Heat
Gatewalker Rolf was a little concerned. He was about to fight a former champion, and he was trying to get in the mindset for it, but he couldn't stop thinking about Deis, Celine and Emma sitting at the judges table. Things had a habit of taking a turn for the worse around here when Deis and whoever her current cohorts were got involved. And when two men were in the arena. Like today. What turned Rolf's concern into pure dread was when the music started. Sure, he was a fairly personallity-free early 16bit era character, but even he knew that Marvin Gaye was not an appropriate soundtrack for a dueling arena. But Heat walking out in a pink banana hammock and a black muscle shirt that proclaimed him to be a "Tentacle Therapist", smiling and waving to crowd like he didn't find this odd in the least was the last straw. Rolf blinked, dropped his Megid on Heat and the judges alike, and RAN. When Chisato tried to reach Heat for a comment after the "match", the red haired demon(that's Heat, not Chisato) had the following to say: "AHAHAHAHAHA! Ahaha...hah...oh man, that was great. Bardiche Edea is a Sorceress with quite a lot of power fested in that figure of hers. Suicune is a sort of dog that became one with the very force of water itself! Edea can freeze things solid. Ageant I gotta give this one to Noa, because frankly I can't take Dalton seriously, what with his eyepatch and his bouncy hair. That and he has shown the ability to send himself into dimensional rifts accidentally. Noa: 32 
Roan vs Black Wizard
Bardiche When you command the very tapestries of reality and can bend the laws of physics to your will, you tend to feel all powerful. But when someone pulls a massive golden hammer out of an absurdly small backpack, you don't start thinking, "Hey, could I do that with my magic?" You also don't wonder how he did that, or whether that golden hammer is even practical as a weapon. No, you run. Like hell. Black Wizard knew all this. Taro vs Eliwood
Namagomi Anyone who takes the time to watch Taro fight can notice something. He throws windmill punches. Just like the fat kid in second grade. Rozalin's presence in the stands didn't help, as that just made Taro throw his windmill punches with that much more gusto--when he wasn't drinking milk in the middle of a fight. So in effect, Eliwood is fighting an overindulgent milk-addicted kid who should be no better at fighting than your average grade-school fatty. ...the fact that Eliwuss somehow got beaten by this is a testament to...well, how pathetic he is. Gatewalker Blaziken trained for this match by punching Aron and other steel types into oblivion. At least forty a day. Surely this would prepare him for busting through Sharon's defenses. *CRACK* "B-B-BLAZE!" Or the kung fu chicken could break his knuckles on Sharon's shield. Apparently steel in every other universe can actually withstand being attacked by a martial artist without breaking. Sharon: 27

Of course, sometimes it's a little hard to find. --- "Oh god. Oh god, not that sound again!?" Shir shrieked, as she covered her ears. Whimpering, she fled the arena. Karyl laughed to himself. His research-and an intelligent guess-had paid off. If it takes someone a long time to steal the right phone, they must have gone through an awful lot of phones trying to steal the right one. Clear Tranquil Hale, healthy, hearty whip wielding real woman with a good appetite vs passive frail, dainty, delicate young lady ... The conclusion here is obvious ... heh who could have know Light could hold such action. Well except for Zidane of course but we all know what happens to him if he tries to get in on some lady vs lady action ... and how does he ever manage to keep up with all such matches anyway? Sten vs Yushis
superaielman The finest plans of Monkeys and men sometime go awry. Namely, Sten's plan to pose as an automated angelic groping machine was derailed when Zidane went to go hit on Tia and Riddel and encourage them to persue more... adult... adventures. This left Sten without a backup plan, so the little monkey that could actually -fought- instead of grabbing every female in sight and won a close victory, to the shock of the entire crowd and the dissapointment with the anti perversion squad assigned to the match. Zidane? Well, he was last seen having a quiet talk with Dario and Karsh, who took exception to his statement. Well, the talking was quiet, the beating was loud enough to be heard across several arenas. Sten: 23

Venat may have chosen a powerful ally in Vayne, but the Profound Darkness is used to such trifles. After all, she can send out a Dark Force lackey any time she chooses.
