Fou-Lu (BoF4) Fou-Lu vs Freya Freya (VPs)

MeepleLard
Freya entered the Match, thinking that Fou-lu's title, the "God Emperor" was merely just some Mortal title and thus, she should win easily. Besides, Odin did it once in RPGP, why couldn't she?
Fou-lu entered the match calm as usual, followed by his 2 "Coaches", Won Qu and A-tur, holding a Ball of energy in his hand like he does when ready for battle, he confronted Freya with no fear. And also, didn't he beat her once before, why couldn't he do it again?

The match bell rang, and then...Fou-lu imidiatly transformed into his Trade MArk form: Tyrant.
Freya immidaitly followed up with her famous Lines "Prepare to Be Cleansed! Divine Assault! Ether Strike"
Freya did forget one thing though. The type of attack Ether Strike was. Its a "Purify Wierd Souls" There are several problems about using such an attack on Fou-lu:
A. Fou-lu is already as pure as can be. So, purifying him isn't doing much.
B. Fou-lu isn't exactly a weird Soul, if he was, where does that leave Freya? She'd likly hurt herself with her own Ether Strike if she was a wierd soul, and since both are gods..
C. The whole aspect of Soul. Fou-lu isn't really a Soul, but only half of one, thus, technically, the attack has half the effect on him.

All these combined with Fou-lu's Monster Defense allows him to brush the attack off. But then something unexpected happened...Fou-lu held back from attacking Freya.
Freya: Why don't you attack me?
Fou-lu: Thy beauty be as divine as myself.
Freya: ARe you trying to distract me by Flirting with me? That doesn't seem very noble like.
Fou-lu: I be not the type to lie. Wouldst thou be doing anything after the match?
Freya was suprised, and she really wanted to ditch Odin, so she agreed to make that "Engagement" with Fou-lu. The 2 left the ring prematurly, Freya Before Fou-lu, and isnce Freya waas out of the Ring First...FOu-lu wins by default.

Tune in next time to see how Odin reacts to this, and what Ryu4 thinks of his other Half dating the Goddess of Fertility!

Fou-Lu: 11
Freya: 5

Celes Chere (FF6) Celes Chere vs Feena Feena (G1)

Pipe Dreamer
Both contestants knew that the outcome of this match hinged on whether or not Celes was allowed to use her Minerva armor, nulling out half of Feena's infamous Time Gate/End of the World/Zap Whip/Zap Whip combo. Hence, instead of a ferocious catfight between two rather scantily-clad women (as half the spectators were hoping for), Heavy Final IV was decided by a long, tedious legal battle at the RPGDL Ruling Court.

It was an epic. The best litigators of the Empire constructed eloquent arguments on the acquirement and exclusivity of the Minerva, while King Edgar of Figaro explained to a half-asleep audience just exactly how its elemental nullifications worked. The lawyers of New Parm, while not as experienced as their Imperial counterparts, called in dozens of hapless FF6 players who testified that they were never able to get a Minerva in FF6, and accused Celes of secretly poisoning previous opponents and being part of a conspiracy to make the RPGDL Arena an Imperial colony (the latter accusations drew gasps of shock from the public). Meanwhile, Justin delivered torturous filibusters that brought the litigation to a halt.

The case, however, came to an abrupt halt when a teary-eyed Feena announced that she was giving up. The case, she explained, was nothing but an enormous waste of time, she shouldn't have won her semifinal match anyways, and she would rather have no Heavy title than one that she won through cheap tricks. At this point Feena broke down and threatened to use her Time Gate combo on anyone who asked her any further questions.

Some people claimed to have seen Feena turn into a plushie after the press conference, and a strange spirit seemed to come out of it. But those allegations were casually dismissed, and Celes was awarded the victory on both fronts. Feena refused to talk about the case until her dying days, although no one seemed to think that unusual.

Celes Chere: 9
Feena: 8

Tylor H
As has beeen noted before, Celes is an expert at taking a hit and dodging. However, when you're frozen in time, it's hard to dodge.

Garnet til Alexandros (FF9) Garnet til Alexandros vs Sgt. Joe Sgt. Joe (S3)

superaielman
Silent Lake. Death for mages. Therefore, we have a dead mage, and a winning duck.

Garnet til Alexandros: 4
Sgt. Joe: 10

Tylor H
The Duck and the Queen faced across the arena and they began their chanting. Garnet finished first, and muted her foe, blocking out the dangerous Silent Lake which would have sealed her fate. Sgt. Joe, a seasoned soldier and used to making do, merely shrugged at this setback, and strode forward. Three quick hacks of his halbred later, and he was champion.

Miranda (LoD) Miranda vs Saki Saki (G1)

RuinCrusader
Time seemed to stop. A few had a heart attack or three from the news. Somewhere, a sun exploded, and Sephiroth was nowhere to be seen. In the Arena, the entire audience had fainted dead away.

A Grandia boss had won a championship. And she deserved it.

Miranda: 5
Saki: 7

Tylor H
Sure Saki has buffing, but the reason Grandia bosses are mocked isn't because they lack staying power, but because they lack offensive power. Which means that when she's faced by a target that's fast and can both halve damage and heal 10% of their HP at will, she just won't have the strength to keep up. It'll be a long battle, but Miranda will take it in the end.

Tanking 101

vs

~OK

MeepleLard
Lets look at the FEOK's opponents. First off, if Cecil attacks one, he's attacking a kid, I don't caer HOW strong, its still a kid, something dishonorable. Likewise, Cecil realizes this, and holds back.
Guntz...well, he has "I'm a Toy Train" or wahtever written ALL over him. The FEOKs WILL most likly use him as a plaything, and thus, that will scare him, and he will run home crying.
So...that leaves Twaiken and Luca Blight. Well, if Luca's ugly face doesn't scare teh kids away, one can only hope a Giant Shovel used by a Grasslander can. And if that doesn't...

FEOK: 9
Luca: 4

Normally Cecil's healing is utter crap, but in a match like this Cure 2 is all he needs to win this match for his team.
