Why does that help him win?
Well, it doesn't against Albedo, since she's ten years too old, but against the rest, leaving them outside the ring got them to leave quickly. And then he crushed the little pervert.
Granted, why Ghaleon has pictures of Evil Luna to throw away like this is another tale. Extensive collection, or just good planning?

Simple Math describes this one. Every Villain has one objective: To gain obscene godly powers and become one themself, what they do with it is different, but that's ultimatly what everyone wants, right?
Well, here'swhere math comes in, most villains are stopped from becoming Gods RIGHT before they are gods. Fou-lu, however, is born that way, he is a God, therefore, he is already ahead of the game. That said, while the others are still lagging working on ways to become godly, such as Ghaleon messing with ALthena, Sephiroth gathering Power, Kuja trying to get all angsty so he can trance, Fou-lu has already began his plans for victory
