Ultimecia (FF8) Ultimecia vs Sephiroth Sephiroth (FF7)

tylorh@hotmail.com
Well, sure, Ultimecia can compress time, control those long in the distant past, and has more staying power than Gadwin in a plot battle. However, she talks like a steriotypical Russian and Seph has a cool shirtless/badass cool look going on which gets him the fangirls. And, there's no force on the net that can stand up to a horde of raving fangirls.

Ultimecia: 4
Sephiroth: 10

Meeple Lard
The 2 FF Villains had walked into the arena. Well, not really, Sephiroth Flew in, while Ultimecia came through some wierd time portal thingy, but you get the point. The 2 of them had already watched thier biggest rivals, Cloud and Squall, beat themselves to a bloody pulp, Cloud being victorious, in RPGP heavy match not to long ago, so now it was a chance to see who was the better villain.

Ultimecia started by her usual Kompressing Time methods to be Sephiroth. Little did she know all that did was speed up the time it took for Sephiroth to summon Meteor and slam it into her face...

Melfice (G2) Melfice vs Yunalesca Yunalesca (FFX)

Super
"Wailing SOUL SLASH!"

Melfice's scream echoed throughout the arena, as did the sound of Yunalesca's shattered body hitting the floor. Valmar's minion had slaughtered yet another opponent on his path to victory.

Yunalesca's shattered body brought back memories... of a happier time, with his brother and girlfriend. Shaking his head, Melfice kept walking. That was the past. Now, his future was The Fight. Nothing was going to stop him. Nothing at all.

Melfice: 5
Yunalesca: 2

DragoonJay@excite.com
Can Melfice make it three Godlike champions in a row that aren't in the RPGP Godlike?

Well, he'll get the chance.

Asellus (Saga) Asellus vs Jack van Burace Jack van Burace (WA)

tylorh@hotmail.com
As everyone who's ever played SaGa Frontier knows, the characters in that game toss out ungodly damage, but go down faster than Rinoa in a brothel. This means that you have a game of quick draw specialists. A pity that she had to meet a better Quick Draw specialist, and so Asellus goes down to an opening Trump Card.

Asellus: 4
Jack van Burace: 6

Super
Jack does the smart thing, and goes to someone who's both smarter than him, and knows how to deal with the likes of Asellus.

Jack walked into the arena, clutching his arm. Muttering just loud enough for Asellus to hear, he begins talking about the protesters who were objecting to the victory of team Yuri last week. Asellus, outraged that someone would object to that, left the arena, enraged.

Jack walked over, and thanked Kazan for his help. Apparently, reading Doijin could do a fighter some good.

Luca Blight (S2) Luca Blight vs Emily Emily (S3)

tylorh@hotmail.com
This looks to be an amazing fight. Great offence paired with good evade against great defence paired with weak offence. And both of them about equally fast, though in different ways. Then you remember that Luca has the Fire Slashes that ignore evade, and it becomes a simple matter of Emily not being able to take it long enough.

Luca Blight: 8
Emily: 4

Super
Emily is a fiery girl. Luca doesn't mind this. In fact, he'll be making every effort to reinforce this, with his flame slashes. It shouldn't take many 'reinforcements' to end this match.

Sonya Shulen (S1) Sonya Shulen vs Taya Taya (SF2)

tylorh@hotmail.com
This is a battle of MP reserves, with Atlas against Kindness Drops. Which means that you have a level 1 spell in a game with the most spell charges in the series, against the most expensive spell in its game. Two rounds later, Taya is reduced to a physical, while Sonya still has plenty of healing left.

Sonya Shulen: 9
Taya: 1

Nina Wyndia (BoF1) Nina Wyndia vs Lilka Eleniak Lilka Eleniak (WA2)

Super
Nina saw what happened last week. So, she did the smart thing, and paralized Lilka right off the bat. After that, she threw the young mageling towards the smitten Cristo, and the enraged Alena. Whatever happened after that, it kept Lilka from fighting Nina.

Nina Wyndia: 7
Lilka Eleniak: 5

DragoonJay@excite.com
What a pity for Nina that her status effects will only last until Condition Green. Then again, so will she.

tylorh@hotmail.com
Lilka and Nina both have status boosting magic and lots of healing. Leading to a battle of epic length. Of course, Lilka also has infinite spells, while Nina has finite MP, and will eventually run out. Granted, it'll take a few days, but eventually run out she shall, and then Lilka chips for the win.

Grey (VP1) Grey vs Tengaar Tengaar (Suikos)

tylorh@hotmail.com
Coming from a traditional 2-D world, Grey was greatly surprised when Tengaar simply took a step to the side before demolishing him with a well placed Earthquake.

Grey: 1
Tengaar: 11

Palom (FF4) Palom vs Locke Cole Locke Cole (FF6)

Meeple Lard
With Palom's abysmal Defense, Locke's Wing Edge would probably do MORE than his Valiant Knife. That said, Locke can probably get 3 turns (Wing Edge boosts speed by 7...) on Sluggish Charge Time Palom, and if he can take 1 Flare...he's won. Why? Chances are by the 4th Wing Edge, the Instant death will kick in and...not a pretty site...

Palom: 8
Locke Cole: 9

tylorh@hotmail.com
What could Locke possibly steal that'd give him this match? Palom had to wonder that, since he knew this was the thief that could steal everything up to the clothing off a man's back. However, being a mage, he figured he had no need to worry about that.

He worried even less shortly after the battle began as Locke jumped into the first row of stands and quickly disrobed a few of the more fetching female fighters taking in his performance. Palom, significantly distracted by that display, never noticed as Locke got in close and offed him with a well placed stab.

Pipe Dreamer
Palom was brimming with confidence. The RPGDL spectators were about to learn a thing or two about Mysdian magery, and that worthless thief was the perfect target to exhibit on. He had even had a (temporary) tattoo of his lucky animal today. Nothing could possibly go wrong.

Until Locke stole his clothes in the opening round. And revealed said lucky animal as an elephant. And revealed that a certain body part of Palom's doubled as the elephant's trunk.

Palom wasn't the type to die from embarrassment. But he did momentarily get stunned, giving Locke the chance to bury the ValiantKnife into his chest.

Unfortunately for Palom, his sister was the type to die from embarrassment. Porom politely declined the RPGDL staff's offers to raise her brother, and his naked body ended up being a major tourist attraction of the RPGDL grounds.

Goomba vs Slime
vs.
~metroid composite

Meeple Lard
Goombas Hurt you if you walk into them. Slimes have to actually attack. That said, since a slime attacks by walking into something, the Goomba wins this battle shear fact that he has a Hamedo like affect to pure "Charge" moves like that :P

Goomba: 9
Slime: 5

DragoonJay@excite.com
Goombas are flammable. (See: Super Mario Brothers, Super Mario Brothers 3, etc.)
Metal Slime has Blaze. (See: Dragon Warrior IV)
The mushroom's getting melted.

tylorh@hotmail.com
Sure, the slimes are everywhere, but they can only do 1 HP of damage at a time. Whereas a goomba simply walking into Mario is enough to kill him before he has a shroom. The slime, lacking a shroom, dies a quick death when the goomba walks into it.
