Week 5 - Semifinals

Menardi (GS) Menardi vs Songi Songi (LoL)

HydrogaZero
If Legend of Legaia has taught us nothing else, it's that girls beat up boys. Noa is the best PC by any length, and she beat up Songi.

Thus, Songi throws the match before he gets slapped into oblivion.

Menardi: 8
Songi: 4

Dario (CC) Dario vs Cecil Harvey Cecil Harvey (FF4)

RC
Cecil could almost taste a win as entered the arena. He charged Dario, expecting to easily take off a large chunk of HP. That was when Dario did the thing everyone least expected. He jumped. Right onto Cecil's back.

"Why didn't I think of this earlier?" thought the Dragoon.

And, while that one jump wouldn't've been enough to do it Cecil, there was a difference between Dario and a normal dragoon's jump. A normal dragoon retreated after they jumped. Dario just decided to perform all his attacks while standing on Cecil.

Thus, the dragoon Deva was crowned champion while the paladin cried that he wanted his White Mage. That's gotta be some kind of karmic justice or something.

Dario: 12
Cecil Harvey: 6

Ramsus, Kahran (XG) Ramsus, Kahran vs Vormav Tingel Vormav Tingel (FFT)

Dark Holy Elf
n Vormav's defence, he was infinitely more competent as a military officer than his current opponent ever was. Under his leadership, the Shrine Knights acted as a decisive force in the Lion War, and almost played control of the nation right into the church's hands. So he'll no doubt think of some clever strategy to win here...

Except that Ramsus, despite all his problems, isn't stupid. No pure swordsman can ever hope to break through his Mirror Stance, and with a championship on the line, Ramsus will have no need to play nice and drop it. Vormav can strategise all he want, but he has still lost this fight even before it begins.

Ramsus, Kahran: 12
Vormav Tingel: 3

Rena Lanford (SO2) Rena Lanford vs Amy Sage Amy Sage (PS2)

Excaliburned
As the bell rang, signalling the beginning of the battle, Rena quickly cast a Silence Spell, muting her slower foe. Amy, knowing Rena to be just as reliant on magic fired her SilentShot, sealing off all the magical abilities.

Amy, now pulled out her Fire Rods, knowing that they gave her the only remaining magic in this duel of the mages. Unfortunatly, weak fire damage isn't quite the trump card one might like it to be when the other mage, instead of being the classical physical weakling, is instead a decent martial artist with speed and respectable damage. One Pummling later, Rena was the new Light Champion.

Rena Lanford: 8
Amy Sage: 7
