Season 17, Week 2
Ryu
(Breath of Fire)

Often regarded as the weakest of the Ryus, the original bearer of that name is ready to prove he is just as deserving of his rank as the others. With absolutely insane defense to begin with, Ryu will be laughing at Piastol's Tempest Dance in human form, let alone after transforming into Rudra, and multiplying his durability many times over, to the point where Tempest Dance fails to damage at all. Meanwhile, Ryu's defense-ignoring Breath attack will blast through Piastol's lackluster HP, killing her long before she can do more than scratch him.

Magic Emperor Ghaleon is dead, and a new queen of the DL has been born. Piastol's bloody charge through godlike last season was a thing of true glory, with three former godlike champions unable to stand in her way. Her first test this season is a mere warmup, even if it's one of the fearsome Kaiser Dragons. Ryu may have the durability to withstand a Tempest Dance, but he can't wear down Piastol fast enough before the dragon form fails. When he has to revert, Eternum will be waiting, ready to leave a very fatal mark on the light dragon.

Sage Acrin
A scythe: 48 random battles worth of cash.

A ship to travel in, so she could hunt bounties: 127 random battles worth of cash.

Gaining more and more power, so that she could try repeatedly (And, admitably, still fail every time.) to defeat Vyse and company: 1872 random battles for cash to upgrade her weapon, and to gain more experience.

Crushing a Godlike in a single spell, before they get a chance to scratch you: Priceless.

For Piastol, there are some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's obsessive leveling.
