Season 17, Week 2
Valvalis
(Final Fantasy IV)

Valvalis has a fierce test to undergo this season. After rubbing her newly won Heavy crown in Rubicant's face, the Lady of Gales must fight the embodied hatred of her own master: Zeromus. This will be Val's hardest match yet - Zeromus' Meteor and Big Bang are painful magic attacks, and he is well-known for his durability. But Val's insane speed will ensure she gets to strike at her master hard and often, tipping the odds in her favor. Valvalis is ready to prove she is much more than a mere slayer of heroes in Godlike.

While his four fiends reign over basic elementals of nature, Zeromus prefers a different domain. He embodies hatred, and hate is what gives him fuel. And with the recent upsets in his own division, hate will be in plentiful supply. Zeromus has all the mental advantages here. As Valvalis's master he knows every strength and weakness she hides, along with having the ability to keep his own skillset completely secret from her. Having blistering speed to match her own merely makes this fight even more one sided, as does Val's lack of damage in what's sure to be an incredible slugfest.

Sir Alex
Zeromus over Valvalis is kind of... obvious, don'tcha think?

Shale
While not the most durable or most powerful of Zemus' Fiends, Valvalis could still put up a solid fight against her master before losing the round. But like any good minion, she values her job more than a moral victory. Zeromus wins by default.
