Season 16, Week 4
Nash Latkje
(Suikoden III)

Another week, another easy match for everyone's favourite Harmonian superspy. Shigeo has menanced Middle for long enough, but now he's facing someone with actual damage. With his darts and Heavy Damage skill, Nash will easily chip through the Wise Man's plentiful HP reserves before Shigeo's infamously inaccurate petrification kicks in. His good dexterity and agility, along with his trusty Water Rune, are mere insurance in this fight, as Nash looks to follow in the footsteps of his fellow Fire Bringer Sgt. Joe and take home a Middle title.

SHIGEO CONTINUES HIS UNQUESTIONED DOMINATION OF MIDDLE THIS WEEK AS HE FACES THE HARMONIAN SUPERSPY, NASH. HIS OPPONENT MAY BE USED TO BEING SNEAKY AND SUBTLE, BUT AS SHIGEO HAS PROVED TIME AND AGAIN, SUBTLETY IS NOT THE BEST POLICY. WITH HIS PETRIFYING INFRINGEMENT SKILL, THE MOST VOCAL OF GOD'S TEN WISE MEN WILL SURELY PUT AN END TO HIS OPPOSITION AND ADVANCE TO THE FINALS. AFTER ALL, THERE'S NO WAY TO HEAL OUT OF BEING TURNED TO STONE.

SHIGEO TAKES A FALL FOR A CERTAIN LADY OUT THERE. DO NOT WORRY MY DEAR, I WILL GO DOWN FOR YOU WHENEVER YOU WANT ME TO, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. I DO NOT MIND YOU LOOKING AT OTHER MEN, JUST REMEMBER THAT HE IS MARRIED AND THAT I AM YOUR ONE AND ONLY, ZOAH SAYS HI TO. NOW I CAN FOCUS ON MY OTHER CAREER INSTEAD OF FIGHTING. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT SAILORS ............................... AND FIGHTING.

Nash Latkje: 36
Shigeo: 13

Despite being from a game well-known for its complete lack of status defense, Nash had a pretty decent chance at winning this thanks to his evade, and non-sucky damage.

Unfortunately, it turned out that his missus was a big fan of BITGOYSWB, and that she would be mighty displeased if Nash were to hurt the bass guitarist. Since he didn't exactly want to wake up the next day an anemic, he immediately forfeited the match.
