Season 16, Week 3
Ghaleon
(Lunar Series)

Magic Emperor and (self-styled) ruler of the Duelling League, Ghaleon's had an easy time of it this season. Crushing Ryu in a single casting of Fate Storm was no astounding achievement, although that initial G. Dragon did sting quite a bit, not to mention the nasty job it did on Ghaleon's new cloak. Regardless, Rolf is much the same, as he is yet another PC with no protection against Ghaleon's trademark attack. Megid may very well sting and burn, but the DL's highest ranked fighter/mage is the one who will have the last (maniacal, echoing, endless) laugh.

Once again, the legendary Rolf Landale must face Ghaleon, Godlike's most powerful sorceror, in a match to the death. However, Rolf is not about to be felled the same way he was so long ago. Indeed, like Albedo before him, Rolf is ready to prove that anyone can learn from the past, and find a weakness in even the strongest opponents. Rolf's powerful anger-induced Megid will wreak havoc on the Magic Emperor, and his years of training as an agent of Paseo will surely come in handy at predicting the master mage's moves. Watch it, Ghaleon - now it's your time to die!

Sage Acrin
Ghaleon, after his rather humilating win over Ryu 2, decided not to play anywhere remotely fair this week.

As he walked in, he pointed up at one of the screens in the arena, and called out "Isn't that Anna and Shir mudwrestling?".

It took quite a while for Rolf to realize it was, in fact, Piastol and Xenobia. And still longer to tear his eyes away from it anyhow. In fact, he never really did, the Fate Storm knocked him out before he had a chance to.

Sure, Ghaleon lost a little dignity, but he also didn't have his eyebrows singed off by a Megid...
