Season 16, Week 1
Drachma
(Skies of Arcadia)

Though he's a sailor of the sky, this gruff captain of the Little Jack looks more as if he was carved from stone. And in this case, looks do not deceive as the good captain is one of the finest tanks to ever grace the DL. With his defensive Spirit Charge, Drachma will be able to withstand Ziekfried's attacks until he stands ready to gain the victory with a barrage from his Hand of Fate, crushing the foolish Metal Demon with his powerful blows and moving on to the quarter finals.

After waiting patiently and watching his fellow Quarter Knights and his Prophet sidekicks fail repeatedly, the master himself, with the Dark Spear Glumbazer, steps up to prove once and for all that demons are indeed the superior race. With his trademark attacks of Ziek Impulse, Proton Beam, and Negative Rainbow, the old sailor won't know what hit him. All it takes is a few shots from the spear, and this is one demon any Mother would be proud of; a Heavy champion.

Monkeyfinger
Ziekfried, the greatest of the quarter knights, looked down upon the rusty old sailor in front of him with contempt. Drachma was just..... standing there.

"What can a mere human do against me, the greatest of the metal demons? You were a fool to even come here. You are to frightened to move! With my vast power, and Glumblazer in hand, I will crush you like the pitiful worm that all you humans are........."

Just as he did when he encountered Rudy and friends aboard the Sweet Candy, Ziekfried continued to talk. And talk. And talk. And not make one move to destroy his enemy. And through it all, Drachma stood completely still, eyes shut, not moving to attack Ziekfried, seemingly doing nothing.

Ziekfried's failure to kill Rudy when he had the chance led to the death of him and all the other Quarter Knights. One would figure that Ziekfried would have learned a lesson from that: Show your enemy no mercy, even if he appears powerless at the time.

Sadly for Ziekfried, he didn't. He was still ranting about how ridiculous the notion of a human beating a demon in single combat when he saw a giant metal hand rise up from Drachma's position. Only then did he realize what Drachma had been up to. He floated up into the air, raised Glumblazer, and aimed it at Drachma...... only to get promptly crushed into the ground by the Hand of Fate.

Drachma: 25
Zeikfried: 13

Shale
Even though he lacks healing, Drachma is simply enough of a tank to go toe-to-toe with this robo-swordsman, and eventually give him a big, crushing handshake.

Dunefar
For all the noise about Zeikfried being a demon, Drachma found that he could defeat Zeikfried the same way he deals with bad fish: Throw'em overboard. Metal Demon or whatever, falling through the lower atmosphere of Arcadia is a surefire way to dispose of trash.
