Season 16, Week 1
Rolf Landale
(Phantasy Star 2)

Legendary Rolf Landale. The last descendant of Alis must once again prove he's worthy of the title and power bestowed upon him as a Protector of Algol. The hideous Shizel has come to the Godlike ranks of the DL, seeking to conquer it for herself. But Rolf is ready to rise to the challenge. With much of the same power that his ancestor Alis used to defeat Dark Force, Rolf can easily weather her so called Eternal Finality. The righteous Megid will prove to be his foe's undoing, as the power of the Protector is not a thing to be trifled with.

After seasons of waiting, Shizel is finally ready to make her triumphant return to the arena. Much to her delight, in her first match, she’s against her favorite type of enemy: a PC. Although Rolf may have the powerful Megid spell, it will barely be able to dent Shizel’s Spell Barrier or the Celestian overlady’s high HP score. After that, Shizel can throw all types of Dark Aurora Artes against the helpless Rolf. Conveniently, Shizel knows she’ll only need two turns to defeat Rolf: one to cast Eternal Finality, and one to spit on his corpse.

Rolf calmly walked onto the battlefield, the shining Nei Sword in hand, and greeted Shizel.

"Hmmmm. I've heard you're good at defeating your average fighter. But I'm hardly that. You'll be lucky to survive one blow."

"Ha. I shall rend you limb from limb with the darkness, boy." Shizel said, a cool smile playing on her lips.

"We shall see."

Rolf stood still, his calm face now a mask of hatred. Channeling the forces of pure rage, he blasted Shizel with his trademark Megid, leaving her staggering.

"Ha...haha....you...fool." A staggering, but still standing, Shizel cried. "I am not so easily defeated."

"You...are aware I can do that again, right?" Rolf said, smiling.

"Yes. Yes, I am, little fool. Gateway to Eternal Void, show your passage!" Shizel cried out. A huge rift opened in the sky, and a massive blade of energy shone from it. "Be damned by my darkness!" She cried, as the blade sliced down into Rolf's body.

And the entire crowd stood, stunned, as Rolf sank to the crown, quite unconcious...

"How?" "What, I thought...." "She can't...." The mutters were heard from the crowd. "Can't that attack not kill?"

"Hold it, ya?" A voice rang out on the field. Wakka, along with the entire Spiran group of guardians, and the Summoner they protected, walked into the arena.

"That's not really Shizel, ya know?"

"What are you fools talking about? I am the only master of the Dark Aurora."

"Not quite correct. You see, we know where you've been, Shizel." Yuna said.

"We know that you were working with the production crew of another game." Tidus said. "And that you picked up something while you were there."

"I have no idea what you are talking about! Now I shall leave, and claim my reward!" Shizel yelled out, stalking out of the arena.

"Kimahri, get her!" Tidus yelled, and Kimahri lunged forward, chasing down and knocking to the ground the unsuspecting(And still weakened from Megid.) Shizel.

"Jenkies!" Rikku yelled out. "She was wearing a mask!"

"Jen....sigh." Lulu muttered under her breath. "They would play this to the hilt....and poorly....well," she said with a shrug, "it's interesting to watch."

"The game she was working with? Tales of the World, Narakiri Dungeon 3. Where people dress up in costumes, including a Shizel costume, and gain that character's full powers. And where Eternal Finality was fatal. Isn't that right, Shizel?" Tidus said, with a grin on his face. "You knew you couldn't win this fight fairly. So you dressed up in your own costume!"

"And I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you stupid teenagers and your meddling Ronso!" Shizel yelled out.....
