Season 2, Week 3
Erim
(Lufia Series)

Erim, as always has her favoured attacks, instant death and the potent Dark Fry. Of course, this week she has, in the Wiseman Berle, an enemy who is immune to instant death, and who resists elements. However, she didn't become the one who revives the Sinistrals without being resourceful in some way. And, even if she does fail, it certainly wouldn't be the first time she'd have fallen in battle.

After making his RPGDL debut last week in the finest of ways, a victory over the defending Godlike champion, Berle intends to show he's no flash in the pan by any stretch. The Wise Man's philosophy of "the best offence is a good defence" will once again show itself this match, not just in his ever-cheesy Meta-Guard, which allows him to take no damage for an extended period of time and costs no MP, but also in his excellent elemental resistance and high HP which should see him through the worst of Erim's Dark-typed offence. Of course, Berle's hardly lacking for offence himself... his Meta-Cancellation is strong enough to shred Erim's previous opponent, Claude, in two shots, so even the powerful Sinistral will feel plenty of pain if Berle can connect with that attack. Erim will definitely have her hands full contending with this balanced powerhouse.

HydrogaZero
Berle and Erim, being two extremely powerful superbeings, decided to settle their differences the old fashioned way: strip poker.

Too bad Berle got a straight flush, isn't it? Well, not really, since it was Erim who had the real flush in the end...

Erim: 5
Berle: 6
