Season 15, Week 5
Diekbeck
(Arc the Lad Collection)

For the robots, Diekbeck shall march. Just last week was a fellow mech slain at Xenobia's brutal hands. To stand up for the rights of the mechanical, Diek must face down Ghaleon's top assistant and teach her the power of machinery. Divide would be a good first lesson, giving Diekbeck the healing he needs in what will be a very long match. With tactical useage of Invincible and Rob Mind to avoid the worst of Xenobia's spells, Diekbeck's set for a long, grinding fight... with the goal of being the first Arc the Lad character in RPGDL history to win a title.

Lord Ghaleon is surely pleased with Xenobia's work this season. She's defeated all of the petty challengers in her way: a bold human sorcereress, a wannabe world-destroyer, and a glorified trashcan named T260G all fell to her mighty magics. Another bucket of bolts is all that stands in Xenboia's path to a Heavy championship. While Diekbeck may have some cheap tricks, it can't be expected to weather the storm of massively damaging spells. Not even Invincible can save Diekbeck forever - and the moment its MP runs dry, the championship will be Xenobia's.

On one side, you have a one of the leaders of the Vile Tribe, powerful and cruel with wicked magicks to draw upon. The other side.. you have a robot who's best known for sharing EXP with others, and blowing himself up with his best attack.

Diekbeck can only blow himself up. Xenobia can fire off as many uses of Sonic Boom as it takes to send the little robot who coulndn't back to the scrapyard.

Diekbeck: 11
Xenobia: 32

"HAIL LORD GHALEON!

YOUR LOYAL SERVANT XENOBIA WILL NOW PROCEED TO CAPTURE THE TITLE OF HEAVY IN THE NAME OF OUR IDEALOGICAL CRU-"

The crisp rippling of Hell Wave's energy follows a moment later, turning most of Xenobia into a charred corpse. Ghaleon sighs, rising from his throne atop the Grindery.

"Royce," he says aloud, to the shellshocked girl standing besides the minimal remains of Xenobia, "Would you inform Diekbeck that Xenobia had to forfiet," he commands, sitting back down. "Today's experiment seems to be a failure."

Diekback has it in an endurance battle to the death. If he starts to run low on MP, he takes it from her with Rob Mind. If he's not low, he uses Invincible, and just pounds her to death. Long, hard fight, but he gets it.
