The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

{The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly + Treasure of the Sierra Madre}
~Doma

Out in the sandy badlands that surround the Gold Saucer, three men set out in search of the fabled lost caravan of Dio. With a large amount of gil bullion, such a find would make the owners wealthy enough to live the rest of their lives in luxury. The path was dangerous, the obstacles many, but through it all the three of them made it to the treasure no worse for wear.

That was the easy part.

Now, the unlikely trio of Jet Enduro, Balk Fezol, and Nash Latjke have to cart the bullion back across the badlands back to Costa del Sol, where they'll split it evenly between them. At least, that's what each of them has told the others. In reality, each of them is waiting for the right opportunity to make off with it on their own. Each of them can be trusted to keep their end of the bargain, as long as one other person is there. If there's going to be a double-cross, it'll be a solo job, and if they make it to Costa del Sol together, they will go ahead and split it three ways. Those are big ifs, however.

  • Jet makes the others eat his dust
  • Balk engineers his escape flawlessly
  • Nash spies his chance and takes it
  • Something else happens, none of the three get the money
  • Against all odds, they make it to Costa del Sol without stabbing each other in the back

When's the last time a secret agent man's failed? Nash isn't one to start up bad trends like that, and he's good enough to surpass anyone who tries to stop him.

Jet: 5
Balk: 5
Nash: 22
None of them: 13
All of them: 6

This bonus match made me snicker a bit. But, in all seriousness, the one person who I actually know that is smart among those peers is Balk. He makes an angst-fest and the Suikoguy weep in silence. Too bad that he has nothing to spend that money on. Being dead is a bitch when you're a greedy bastard.
