Season 14, Week 4
Balk Fenzol
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

Balk has crushed not just one, but TWO green haired members of the Fire Emblem cast. Now, he comes against the greatest of them all; the mighty Lyndis of Sacae. Of course, Balk isn't worried. With his ability to tank things out, and his elemental guns, he can take a few of the swift warrior’s blows before striking back with his own deadly shots. And, since his weapon is ranged, he can avoid the counters from the Mani Katti that would normally prove a dangerous nuisance to him, making his job that much easier. Yes, only one more green haired fool from Fire Emblem stands in Balk's way to becoming truly ascended compared to the human race. Or just the Middle finals, as everyone else would view it.

This week, against the odious genius Balk Fenzol, Lady Lyndis has more than just her Sacaen pride as a warrior to prove: the Engineer felled two of her comrades-in-arms in battle, and Lyn is sworn to honor her friends by defeating Balk. Luckily, even Balk's amazing accuracy can't stop the fact that his damage is unimpressive, and, despite his defenses, his HP isn't particularly good either. With a Killer Bow in hand, Lyn shoul easily critical Balk, ensuring her win. Balk may have been proven a danger to the Fire Emblem invasion, but Lyndis is determined to show to him what happens when someone strikes against her honored companions, and show once more how far the Sacaen pride can lead a warrior.

Lyndis was concerned as she entered the arena. She had her honour to uphold against Balk. The evil sniper genius who defeated two of her prized allies in battle. One that reminded her horrified colleagues of Nergal's morphs. Only her skill with a sword would not do... she had to do something.

Balk, himself, was simply standing on the arena, lacking the confidence of Vormav, but not as cold as Ziggy. He just seemed... uncaring. Like the battle was already won. Balk sighed at the sight of the Sacaen lady, and loaded his rifle. "Yet another green-haired person from Fire Emblem, I see. Let me test your skills..."

And a gunshot was heard. Balk's attack hit perfectly at her right arm. He finally completed his phrase: "... when you can't use your sword arm". Then, he sighed in eschew once again. Balk prepared to aim yet again, shutting down Lyn once and for all....

And a clear metallic sound was heard. Balk looked around, and realized his rifle was no longer in his hands. He looked up, just to see Lyndis holding a crossbow and nodding her head. She then smiled ironically. "I am not left-handed, and I can do more than swing a sword, you realize".

Then, Lyndis shot a few arrows towards Balk's head. The evil sniper finally fell.

Balk Fenzol: 13
Lyn: 35

Come on, you expect this to be a fight?

If there's anything RPGs have taught us, its that Swords > Guns, when logic doesn't apply.

Lyn uses Swords. Balk uses Guns.
They are both from RPGs, so logic does not apply
...I think the answer is obvious.
