Season 14, Week 3
Rika
(Phantasy Star 4)

For the first time in her DL career, Rika faces an opponent that shares her distinctively feline nature. What should really get her tail twitching (if she had a tail), though, is Mewtwo's collection of psychic mind-bending powers - something the one-year-old Numan is ill-equipped to take. Fortunately, Mewtwo needs a couple of turns to truly get going, so Rika's best bet would be to attempt Eliminate the psychotic kitten before that happens. That won't be easy, with Mewtwo's excellent speed, but Rika is determined not to lose in this catfight.

After handinly crushing one of the wisemen, both physically and mentally, Mewtwo now goes for...something that's somewhat the polar opposite; a spunky one year old long eared female genetic research project. Granted, she's not all that different from himself, being a genetic research project and all, but to Mewtwo, Rika is just another stepping stone in his path to the Godlike Championship. Armed with massive speed to shrug off Rika's speed based Instant Death, combined with his great damage, and Amnesia to boost that damage, he's read for an all out slug fest.

I will faith in the power of Eliminate to rid my adorable numan/cat-girl of one of the most dangerous foes she will face on the road to the Godlike Championship.

Failing Eliminate, I will have a swarm of Umbreon ready to run interference. If Rika can't come out the heroine, I'll at least come out her hero.

Rika: 21
Mewtwo: 35

Although this may come as a shock to some, Rika's obvious superiority to mewtwo can't go unseen as she has the ability to kill more then one raging thing the pokemon will send at her. Prepare for Phantasy Star 4 to dominate once again

Whatever the outcome of this week's Mewtwo vs Rika match, you can be sure it will be punctuated by Rika saying "That was fun, let's do it again!"
