Season 13, Week 2
Shiho
(Valkyrie Profile)

The Queen of Pitiful Offense has finally graced the hallowed halls of the RPGDL! Armed with her trusty Wait Reaction familiar, the blind songstress will try to slowly, oh so very slowly, wear her opponent down and claim victory. Although Shiho may be not be an offensive powerhouse, this battle does play to her strengths, with all of Palmer’s attacks hitting her strong magic defense. And she can heal! Well, every four or five turns, but she can heal for an eternity! Still, with a bit of luck and wise healing, Shiho has a good chance of claiming her first DL victory.

After an eleven-season absence, Shinra's aerospace chief is back and ready to once again taunt his foes into submission. Though Palmer's trademark ass-smack will prove useless against the blind mage Shiho, this only helps him as it forces Palmer to spend more turns actually doing damage. Yes, for once Palmer's Mako Gun will be the superior damage-dealer in a match, and it should easily wear down the frail sorceress's unimpressive HP total. Assuming, of course, that Palmer doesn't mess with the wrong truck on the way to the arena...

Dhyerwolf
Shiho knew that she couldn't beat Palmer in the arena. She was just too pathetic. And while the songstress was usually among the calmest of souls, she couldn't stand the mocking anymore. She had to do something.

On the day of the match, outside Palmer's residence.
"Shiho are you sure this is such a good idea."
"I doth have naught other choice Suo, I can not take the harsh words of thy other contestants."
After a few minutes of waiting, a figured warbled out of the residence and started crossing the street.

"Now Shiho, go straight!" Shiho put her pedal to the medal, and by the grace of a higher power, crashed right into Palmer as he was crossing the road.

Palmer went flying into RPGSL, and was able to make it back in time for the match. Shiho was declared winner by default.

Shiho: 33
Palmer: 28

If there's any indication as to the evil of the AIM dice, it's that they've pitted Shiho against one of the few opponents she can hope to best.

Picture if you will Palmer shooting at Shiho as he did in FF7. Now picture a random bird comming out of nowhere and sending Palmer flying. Who knew that wait reaction familiars could have the same momentum as a truck?

Broc
Palmer? Who the heck is Palmer? Oh. Yeah. Him. I remember him! You expect him to actually win a match? Riiight. Keep in mind that Shiho has been killed before and that Palmer is fat, ugly and a character from Final Fantasy VII. Shiho: 10, Palmer: 0.

Mad Fnorder
The stadium was empty. Yes, the entire famed RPGDL Stadium was completely devoid of spectators. A lone bored referee was on hand to witness the Most Terrible Light Match Ever.

The two competitors opened up with their strongest...."attacks". Stuff happened. Somewhere along the line, a Truck entered the equation. Who won? Meh.
