Season 13, Week 2
Kefka
(Final Fantasy VI)

Godlike's most insane clown is back and he’s ready to for a championship, after a controversial loss in the season VIII finals. He should be able to dispatch his first foe quite easily, especially since the robot drains his own life each time he uses an ability against Kefka. Though Worker 8 is immune to the spells Kefka is usually remembered for, a few double-turns and a couple Havoc Wings later will be all it takes before and the robot is reduced nothing more than a pile of junk - and Kefka stands over it with a triumphant laugh.

Madman versus Steel Giant: a match sure to bring fans from all around the multiverse to view. Although Kefka is known for his devastating attacks, both physical and magical, Worker 8 has little to fear. With his Innocence protecting him from any magical assault Kefka could launch, Kefka is limited to Havok Wing. Though intimidating, the physical loses most of its punch breaking through Worker 8's stellar defenses. Once you also consider that Kefka has the durability of a wet tissue, it becomes clear that Worker 8 will easily Crush the madman.

Kefka opened with his trademark Fallen One attack. As the summoned angel appeared over Worker 8's head, the steel giant began to behave strangely. Here was solid evidence of a divine power, and it totally contradicted the robot's programming.

Well, we all know what happens when a Steel Giant's programming goes wrong... "3...2...1...Genocide Mode!" With that, Worker 8 unleashed his powerful Dispose technique. Unfortunately, he was already at 1 HP, and the backlash finished him off.

The moral is, saying "I disbelieve the illusion" will only get you so far.

Kefka: 60
Worker 8: 12

Thus, the raging Kefka fanboy strikes again! Die, tin can!

The RPGDL has seen some close contests in its day, but the fight (and I use the term loosely) between the magically invulnerable Worker-8 and the physically devastating Kefka is certainly not one of them.
