Season 13, Week 1
Asgard
(Wild Arms 3)

Few can claim to match TimeLord's knowledge of his very namesake, but Asgard is one of them. After all, he's been sent back to the beginning of Filgaia itself! That's a good thing, of course, as TimeLord's main weapon is time itself. Between the typical smack-down of Barrier Knuckle and Barrier Storm's nice flashy animations, it won't take long for Asgard to take down the frail Mystic. Being a nine-foot-tall Golem designed to protect his masters with barriers, one would expect that he's be able to take the punishment Time Lord dishes out. All in all, Asgard is more than ready to collect data for a triumphant start to season 13...

It's a rarity for a Mystic Lord to engage in combat of any sort, let alone the garish display of blood and carnage Duelling League fights are famous for. The reasons of this master of Time magic are unknown, but perhaps his opponent is the answer. His foe is a time-travelling golem, his temporal displacement fascinating and his powers terrible. Wide Barrier alone will make it a dangerous battle, not even counting his furious onslaught of other offensive strategems. TimeLord is prepared, however, with TimeEclipse to maim Asgard's speed and OverDrive for a stunning combo ending in a brutal coup de grace.

"Barrier Knuckle!"

"Griffith Scratch!"

The two attacks collided, and the warriors bounced back.

Neither had seem to be getting anything done. Then Timelord came up with an idea: Why couldn't he just go back in time, to when the match began, and fight along side himself! Of course! This plan was foolproof!

Timelord attempted to use Time Travel...only, he had forgotten that even he himself hasn't mastered this, and thus, instead, traveled a few hours into the future. When he had come of the time vortex, he had realized his error, as the stadium was completely empty, and on the official DL Scoreboard had the following labelled under thier match...

Asgard: 17
TimeLord: 14
