Jerin finds herself in a race against time this week. All season long she's been using her handy Mirror spell to shut down magical opponents, but this one can go through the protective barrier with status attacks. Fortunately, Maya is still a frail fighter. While Jerin normally doesn't rely on her physical much, this match it will very much be her saviourr. Trick will pump her damage up to respectable levels, and against Maya, that's more than enough to score a quick kill. |

It's been a long, hard road, but Maya has at long last reached her final battle - the RPGDL Middle championships! Oddly enough, though, this last battle will be one of the easiest Maya has faced in her career: Maia Custom can easily weather Jerin's paltry offense while retaliating with the Mirror-piercing Multi-Dimension, which should send the elf to the void post-haste. Even Jerin's elven quickness and tolerance to magic can't stop Maya's magical onslaught, so this should be an easy win for the cheerful reporter. |
Nephrite Jerin was ready to prove to everyone just what half-elves could do. Maya was there, fighting for her journalistic integrity, and to prove to all her friends that she was just as capable as anyone else. Two women fighting to prove themselves. Two women with offensive magic, and the ability to reflect said magic. Two women with middling physical attack power. The two of them drew straws. Maya won. Jerin: 7 |
