Mystina brings to the table something that Ramsus can only dream of: a hilarious SD anger portrait of herself with Arngrim. Mystina, however, does not bring to the table a physical attack. That pretty much takes care of the effectiveness of Mirror Stance. However, she still retains her obscenely powerful Dark Saviour, as well as the Infinity Rod she can use to change her Purify Weird Soul into the Great Magic Cosmic Spear. While not as Cosmically as the Spear that the Iseria Queen brandishes, it still gets the job done. Add to that the fact that her other spells include Normalize and Mystic Cross. Mystic Cross being the more dangerous, being able to become a Celestial Gate. |

Despite being -Trash-, Ramsus is no slouch in a fight. While his anti-physical Mirror Stance will be of little help in a fight against a pure mage, his sword slashes will look even better than normal. Ramsus also boasts good magic defence for a Xenogears boss, which should definitely help him here. The Perfect Human's only real concern is that he doesn't get flustered by his opponent; after all, his mental condition has never been exactly stable, and has been exploited by at least one calculating woman in the past... |
Dark Holy Elf "Let's make this sporting," said Ramsus to his opponent before the match. "I'll allow you to use Wait Reaction, even though it's against the rules. I know it's how you Valkyrie Profile mages prefer to fight." Mystina took this angrilly, but practically. "I don't need the help, you arrogant jerk!" she yelled at the Perfect Human. "But... it's not like me to not take advantage of anything I can. Including your lack of respect for me." Ramsus nodded, and the fight began. The Solarian general had the first strike of course, hitting Mystina with a deft series of sword slashes. Mystina responded angrilly with Sacred Javelin, which dropped Ramsus to his knees. "You're good," he muttered. "Thank Deus you have that charge time..." Mystina smiled. "Bet you regret giving me this, now, don't you?" And she sent her bat familiar flying at Ramsus as her Wait Reaction kicked in. "Actually..." said Ramsus, instinctively setting Mirror Stance, then countering Mystina's physical attack by cutting her in two. "... No." Mystina: 5 Sundletan@hotmail.com
