Season 2, Week 1
Aeris Gainsborough
(Final Fantasy VII)

The survivor of the Cetra, Aerith truly had the best overall set of Limits in Final Fantasy VII. Of course, her untimely demise managed to curtail the curtain of Light over her, dooming her to no more stat growth. However, she does have a few advantages in this format, what with no downside to using the Umbrella, and her fast charging Limits. While her Healing Wind will easily heal her of whatever damage Palmer may inflict upon her, Great Gospel could restore her completely as well as make her invincible. However, the one question on everyone's mind will be if the Cetra will even take enough damage from Palmer to warrant the use of Healing Wind.

The director of Shinra's space program, Palmer is one of the most durable Lights... nay, one of the most durable fighters in ANY division! After all, he not only survive a thrashing at the hands of Cloud and company, but also being hit by a truck! Will this excellent durability, along with his various elemental spells cast by his Mako Gun, be enough to power him past his fellow FF7 fighter Aeris? Palmer does have the advantage of being immune to her Seal Evil, so the only question is, can he get past her healing?

Palmer and Aeris trade shot and thwack for many hours before Aeris had to heal... this was repeated for many weeks when finally Aeris had Palmer to low HP. "Now it's time for my trump card." Palmer was then hit by a truck and when he got up his injuries were gone. "Sucka Foo, you lose." Aeris dies now due to lack of mana.

Palmer quickly finished his cup of tea and lard, as he was due for his match against Aerith, the Ancient formely held in captivity by his employers. As Palmer Waddled to the arena, he checked once more to make sure his Mako Gun was in tip top shape. As the match began, he quickly ran out of breath trying to avoid the staffing of the fiesty matyr. "Must..cut..down..on...lard.." he huffed, skirting another blast and countering with a quick shot of Mako. Aeris seemed winded, so he continued the assualt. [Victory is mine!] he thought, as Aeris's health was halfway diminished.

You can imagine his surprise when she stood up, fully healed after using her Healing Wind limit. Almost out of breath and HP, Palmer decided to run away. Making a rude guesture, he quickly ran away, to what he thought was safety..

Dark Holy Elf
Aeris drives a truck into the arena. Palmer gives a yelp of pure terror, and flees.

Aeris gets out of the truck right before reaching the edge of the ring, walks in, and is named the winner by default.
