Season 12, Week 1
Ryu
(Breath of Fire III)

The favored son of the Dragon Tribe, Ryu, makes his second Godlike appearance, and this time his first round opponent is no pushover. He must face the man who ended his last Godlike season. But Ryu won’t give up without a fight, and the dragon thirsts for revenge against the One-Winged Angel. After a Kaiser transformation followed by his trademark Bonebreak, Sephiroth will be in pain. Ryu just hopes that he has the time and ammunition to strike the blows needed to fell Sephiroth this match.

There's a feeling in the air, and its name is REMATCH! Having bested Ryu previously, Sephiroth is ready to prove he is the superior duelist once again. Sephiroth's primary goal in this fight is to finish Ryu before he becomes the dreaded Golden Kaiser. Of course, should Ryu reach a Dragon form, Sephiroth can simply fly out of range of physical attacks and slowly wear through them with Heartless Angel and the powerful Shadow Flare. Once Ryu is out of AP, the match is Sephiroth's. The only question is - can Sephiroth last that long?

Kaiser is a creature of immense power, speed, and durability.

It's also a creature of light. What do you think Shadow Flare will do to him?

Ryu: 21
Sephiroth: 28

Sephiroth casts wall, because that's what he does on his first turn. Ryu goes into True Kaiser. Ryu uses Bonebreak. Seph may survive, but he won't wear down Kaiser's HP or outlast Ryu's AP before getting finished off by breath attacks.
