The Great Chip Robbery

Lucca, Robo, Momo, and Rikku vs Berle, Shigeo, and Jibril

It was a silent night in the RPGDL nexus. Somewhere, near a top secret laboratory...

"Lucca. Can you finally explain why have we come here?" asked Robo.

"Well, uh...I don't really know myself. But Momo said it's extremely important and that we have to act fast and then told me to bring you along."

The bunny-eared scientist turned around.

"Our objective is to obtain a very highly guarded microchip held within that facility. When we put that chip into Robo's circuitry, we can 100% accurately predict the outcome of any DL match", Momo said.

"We'll be rich!" Rikku exclaimed.

"Shhh! We don't want to be heard!" Momo said rather angrily.

"What's she doing here, anyway?" Lucca asked sceptically.

"Well, I figured we could use a lockpicking expert...she's a thief, after all. Now, let's go. We really don't have too much time before dawn."

Rikku managed to open the back door without setting off the alarm.

They found themselves in a gigantic hall full of machinery. With Momo's and Lucca's combined effort, they disabled the security system in less than 30 seconds.

"Now to find that chip...wow...look at all this machinery..." Momo muttered under her breath.

"Ooh! Here it is!" Rikku shouted.

"Hey! DON'T TOUCH-" Lucca yelled. Too late.

The chip generated a blue invincible barrier around itself.

"Now how are we going to get it?" Lucca sighed.

"Hostile activity detected. 3 extremely strong lifeforms approaching." Robo said with as much panic in his voice as a robot can have.

"That barrier is invincible. I'd give up if I was you", a robotic man with a huge sword, shield and full body armor said with a cold voice.

Another robotic man (equipped with a jetpack) came from the hallway.

"WORMS. PREPARE TO DIE."

And finally, the third guardian, a mysterious mage clad in green robe appeared.

"..........."

"Who the hell are you!?" Rikku yelled at them.

"Oh, how rude of us, we haven't introduced ourselves to these thieves yet. I am Berle", the man in armor sneered.

"SHIGEO."

"Jibril..."

"We are the invincible Meta-Guardians, protecting the RPGDL's top secrets from scum like you. You know of the existence of the chip; thus you shall be terminated."

"Uh-oh...looks like we have no choice but to fight! Get ready, everyone!"
  • The Meta-Guardians easily dispose of the intruder trash
  • Momo, Lucca, Robo and Rikku get the chip
  • A stray attack hits the explosive machinery, blowing the whole place up

Lucca wins, you cannot beat time travel. Ever. Not to mention that if it comes down to it, Momo has nuclear weaponry at her disposal, you just don't mess with her.
