The original master of fusions makes his League debut this week. Sadly, Karn can't display his arts in the arena, which explains his current rank. Fortunately, the skilled thief still has excellent speed and power to fall back on, and despite the physcial weakness that landed him in Light, his opponent is worse. Karn will put his criticals and speed to good use in trying to overwhelm MOMO early in the fight. With her most deadly status rendered worthless and her lower speed, the young Realian girl should easily fall to a flurry of pokes from Karn. |

MOMO has much in common with her opponent--like Karn, she's both the swiftest and frailest member of her cast, and neither fighter is an offensive powerhouse. One simple difference lets the realian prevail in this slugfest, though: healing. Life Shot should let MOMO recover from the thief's unremarkable damage, and one good whack with her Slow-inducing Penguin Rod will ensure she gets the doubleturns necessary to take advantage of it and still sneak in some hits of her own. |
