Season 9, Week 4
Steiner, Adelbert
(Final Fantasy IX)

After facing a squire and a monk, Steiner at last faces an equal in the dragoon Fogel. Both have astonishing defense and equally great physical capibilities. However, Steiner has one advantage that will lead him to his third straight victory: accuracy. Fogel has a tendency to miss despite his power, and Steiner has great physical evasion thanks to his gauntlets. His powerful Shock attack, on the other hand, cannot miss its target. If Steiner can avoid being badly outsped, he'll be looking at another win on his RPGDL record.

After thrashing the swordsman Dias, Fogel is up against yet another sword wielder in Steiner. It will take Fogel’s entire battle prowess to overcome the knight. Although Fogel has strong resistance to Steiner’s physically-based attacks, the dragoon will also have trouble dealing damage to the knight, due to Steiner's own high defense. However, with a few Sonic Strikes making their mark and a few physicals to slowly wear Steiner down, this match should be in the bag for the dragoon.

Meeplelard
Steiner, after hearing of a Princess (namely Alena) getting captured by a Dragon, went off and beat said Dragon, like a noble Knight should...

Problem is, he killed the wrong Dragon, as it was Teepo who beat Alena, not Fogel. Oh well, at least he still advances to the next round.
