Welcome to Clash of the Titans week two! After the defeat of the Zulwarn at the hands of Shuu Shirakawa's Neo Granzon last week in the clash of the Lords of Darkness, we have a matchup of a very different nature for you; a battle between two heroic titans of animated and game fame! This week: Mazinger Z vs. Getter Robo!

Mazinger Z, piloted by the courageous Kouji Kabuto, strides into this match confident in its frighteningly high level of durability. The strength of Mazinger's New Alloy Z armor coupled with Kouji's own impressive skills at taking hits well have seen the Steel Stronghold through countless battles against all kinds of villains without fail. The Mazinger, while defensively oriented, is no slouch at dealing out the damage, either. A burning Breast Fire beam, reinforced by the 25% damage bonus of Mazin Power, may spell the end to the Getter Robo's poor durability.

The Getter Robo claims no single pilot. It has not one, not two, but three pilots, all of them focused on proving that the power of teamwork is more than a match for armor. The Getter's three forms allow it a tremendous amount of versatility to counter the Mazinger's durability. The Getter-1, piloted by Ryouma Nagare, rules the skies and packs a tremendous punch of its own in the form of the famous Getter Beam. Getter-2, piloted by Hayato Jin, rules the land; it is speedy enough to dodge thanks to his Getter Vision ability, automatically reducing Kouji's chance to hit the Getter-2 by 50%. Finally, Getter-3, piloted by Musashi Tomoe, is the king of the seas. It too boasts a strong armor value and has the powerhouse move Daisetsuzan Oroshi, a punishing throw technique. All of the Getter forms have the ability Open Get going for them, allowing them to split apart in the face of incoming fire and reduce Kouji's chances to hit them by 25%. Finally, they can call upon their strongest attack, the Getter Change Attack, to allow all three Getter pilots to get medieval on Kouji at once.

In this clash of the mecha who put the super in super robot, who shall emerge victorious? Will three become ONE MILLION POWER and beat Mazinger, or will MAZIN POWER prove too much for the trio? Stay tuned!

The battle raged on and on, neither team giving up to the other.

The Mazinger-Z, the Castle of Black Iron, was missing one arm, half it's chest-plate destroyed, the Pilder, which contained Kouji himself had been cracked, Kouji himself bleeding from the eyes.

The Getter Robo wasn't fairing much better. It had one arm gone, not to mention the fact that it had lost the ability to transform not far into the battle after hit with a strong attack.

"This is it, I'm going to give you my last shot, Ryouma!" Kouji shouted from his cockpit.

"Fine, Kouji! Let's see what you can do!" Ryouma shouted back.

The Mazinger raised it's arm up and fired the last Rocket Punch it had.

Unforetunately, it ran out of power on it's way, and fell to the ground before it even reached the Getter Robo.

"...God -damnit-." Kouji muttered.

"...It looks like this is our win, Kouji." Hayato stated. "...Yeah, yeah. You guys win. I'm going to go fix up Z." Kouji grumbled. The Getter team escorted Kouji and the Mazinger back to the Photon Power labs, both teams having felt they had won, because of the power of burning friendship.
