Season 7, Week 1
Lede
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

Lede will probably balk at her first opponent this season, and she should. After all, Assassins (especially elite ones such as herself) are usually called in to deal with important and challenging targets instead of being sent off to clean up trash. Even with her wide arrange of abilities being rendered effectively useless, Lede still has two very real advantages to call upon: her excellent speed and Ultima. This dangerous combo will leave Ramsus unable to defend himself with his Mirror Stance. That should ensure that the deserving triumphs (and the trash gets left behind) in this battle.

The -reject- is back and as committed to the -fight- as before. With Mirror Stance and status immunity, Kahran Ramsus can put up a fierce fight against the brutal Lede. How does he win? Simply put, the match is a test of the Perfect Human's endurance. He has to endure a barrage of Ultima spells from the Assassin, managing to get a poke or two while maintaining his Mirror Stance. When Lede runs out of MP, she runs out of a way to win. For Ramsus, that's all that matters.

Shale
Ramsus falls to anything that's not a brute physical blow. And since Ultima falls more into the category of "arcane magical doom," well...

Lede: 24
Ramsus, Kahran: 8

All I can say is, after Ramsus pulls himself together from the -trash- heap he is, he'll have this little voice echoing in his mind: "Brush off vanity and show reality! Ultima!" Over. And over. And over. Ad naseum.
