Season 62, Week 2
Emelious de Pamela
(Grandia 3)

With a sword that can slay gods, Emelious shouldn’t have too much trouble dispatching a single angel no matter how powerful they are. Sure, Sephiroth may be fast and may be able to fly out the range of some of Emelious’ more vicious attacks. However, Emelious may even be faster, and given his superior durability, if he can start striking at Sephiroth before the angel goes solar, our resident raging Godkiller may rack up too much of edge for Sephy to catch up. Of course, with serviceable ranged attacks, Emelious isn’t feeling too threatened either way in this fight!

Sure, Emelious may have that Godslaying sword, but unlike all of the gods that Emelious has killed with it, Sephiroth's plan doesn't involve running into it chest first. In fact, it'll involve the exact opposite, as the One-Winged Angel will take to the skies, giving him an undeniable edge against his ground bound foe. And while Emelious tries to figure out that this flying foe won't crash on his own, despite being in possession of only one wing and all, Seph'll have plenty of time to blow up the sun, then bring down the Shadow Flares upon the godslayer to bag this win.
