Season 61, Week 5
Aguro
(Lufia & the Fortress of Doom)

A seasoned, well-bred fighter, having to deal with a goddamned puffcloud? This is just insulting to the soldier class and everything it stands for. Aguro won't have any of it! He has a sharp blade, strong survival instincts and the will to fight even against the deadliest devils! What can this crybaby Mallow do against Aguro's trusty swordfighting? Weep and run for his mommy? Well, those thunderbolts could be problematic, but that's neither here nor there. Aguro won't let this mockery of his honorable background stand up any longer!

While the marshmallow prince may not have had the best of luck in previous seasons, his can do attitude and, naturally, his youthful spirit mean that he'll never quit unless he's successful! And while Aguro may be a solid foe, his slow speed means that the faster Mallow sure have plenty of time to alternate between healing and tearing Aguro down with magic. Of course, Mallow is surprisingly durable for a giant marshmallow, so his excellent healing may not even be needed this time. Light is in for a shocker if they underestimate Mallow!

It should only take two or three swings for Aguro to dispatch the marshmallow. Marshmallows are known to be sticky and that comes into play here. He doesn't make it to two swings as it seems his sword got stuck in Mallow after the first.

This could still have been a win for Aguro. Mallow is reputed to be a crybaby and having swords stuck in him would be the sort of thing to have him flee the arena crying. However, Chisato had doped up Mallow on Pentazemin before the match to spare herself his whining. So instead, Mallow calmly electrocutes and freezes Aguro until he falls over. To add to Aguro's embarrassment, it didn't occur to him to let go of the sword. Forfeiting would have saved him from the pain.
