Season 61, Week 4
Beatrix
(Final Fantasy IX)

For an antagonistic character, Beatrix is remarkably sane. Of course, that sanity may be tested a little as she faces off against what may be the craziest villain to grace the arena. Luckily for the holy swordswoman, her arsenal of powerful spells should mean that, no matter how fearsome Luca's bark may be, his bite won't be enough. The combo of Fire resistance and accurate Blinding should leave Luca struggling to damage her despite triple acting. Beatrix's Holy is more than adept at crushing even the most durable of opposition in a few quick castings, and Luca is hardly a titan himself!

The butcher of the Highlands returns for another go at gore and glory in this season, and nothing shall stop him. Luca Blight's insanity is only matched by his power, and his two titles speaks to that. The prince's blade has a brutal language of its own and it is going to do a hell of a lot of talking on Beatrix. The lady knight's paltry offense is no match for the great Luca's defenses; her only hope of slowing down Luca is her heavily resisted Blind spell. Cura is no match for Luca's furious attacks, not that she'll get much chance to use it with a sword buried in her heart!

Browbeat
Beatrix fights for honor, a dutiful soldier who sees how the world is twisted by the ambitions of the powerful few, yet believes that the cause of justice is not yet defeated. She stands against the party, certainly, but her heart opens to the truth as time goes on.

Luca Blight... Well... He's got a thing about Pigs... But then again, the grand pawn who wished to sacrifice thousands for the power of the Runes (and took 18 PC's and a hail of arrows + a duel to take down) is a single-minded tyrant not to be trifled with.

If we were to suppose that a Summon acts as a high-level Rune spell, Beatrice could chew off much of his HP. Unfortunately, she is not gifted with such things.

Let's hope the last words she hears aren't 'Die, pig!'

Beatrix: 16
Luca Blight: 24

Barubary
oh my Luca Blight is back. Slaying pigs and what not... and his first pig to slay. Why its none other then beatrix. How curious poor thing should have stayed as the undisputed champion of Heavy. Should've kept her nose out of godlike
