Season 60, Week 1
Kain Highwind
(Final Fantasy IV)

The tormented Dragoon from Baron has a truly mighty ordeal up ahead. Against the klutzy inventor Meg, the valorous warrior faces one of his greatest banes - a healer with quite a solid resource pool, who can take advantage of the long interval between his punishing Jump strikes. However, a true warrior never backs down in face of adversity! Kain's notable armor can weather Meg's weak attacks and he has superior training and agility, being able to get openings while Meg is vulnerable casting her spells! And, even if she resists the damage on his spear strikes due to that pesky wind element, he can find a weak spot and take her down! Kain won't be defeated so easily, that's for sure!

After a good run, Meg can put away Silent Lake for the season. Against the jumping Dragoon, Silent Lake won’t be the automatic win that it was against Meg’s last two opponents. Luckily, Kain spends so much time jumping and then waiting for his turn so that he can jump again that Meg has plenty of time to heal off his relatively poor damage and still throw out her own physical attacks, too! Kain may have managed to take down the much frailer, slower, less damaging Amy in a rather slow match, but Meg's far superior stats will mean that this time healing will win out over sad attempts at brute force! It won’t be long before the Middle Fire Emblem mages will be cowering before Meg, too!
