Season 59, Week 4
Futch
(Suikoden Series)

Futch doesn't know who Kain is or what he thinks he is, but the one thing Futch does know is that Kain doesn't know the first thing about dragons. Everybody got that straight? Good. Futch has really been looking forward to restoring the honor of dragons and dragon riders everywhere by smacking Kain out of the skies and coming out triumphant over the guy who manages to sullies dragons by association alone. It's unfortunate that he can't be riding Bright into battle just to drive the point home further (through a few inches of steel and flesh), but a sword is all he needs to prove to Kain that imitation is all well and good, but there's just no substitute for real dragons.

A dragon rider versus a dragoon. It's almost poetic how similar they are in many regards. Both men have lost much, and struggled to regain some semblance of what they once had. Both are tried and tested veterans who remain unbroken by all they've seen and done. But only one can win this fight, so it is with the utmost professional respect that Kain will be sending Futch crawling back to the locker room like the Suikoscrub he is. Without his precious dragon Futch is ground-bound, having no way of chasing Kain into the air as he jumps again and again, raining furious blows on his opponent's head while evading the dragonless dragon rider's desperate attempts to land attacks of his own.

Bardiche
Dragon Knight VS Dragoon.

Yeah, the similarities end there. Although Futch started out a lancer, he swapped that for a sword.

It sure was impressive seeing the two clash multiple times, but in the end there's little anyone can do against a spear in the face.

Futch's last words, as recorded:

"Darn it, stop jumping all the time! Who are you, Mario?!"
