Season 59, Week 2
Renault
(Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword)

So, Bishop Renault is to face a man who is best known for being a weak-willed and easily brainwashed traitor, is he? There does not appear to be much of Kain's life for one to laud, but Renault is hardly a man to lay down judgment as his own past is little better, after all. What the reserved holy man will focus on instead, is the battle at hand. Kain's jumping antics might save him against many foes, but not from Renault's steady magical counters, which will strike the dragoon without fail or mercy as he lands.

The dragoon Kain faces a new foe this week, the Bishop Renualt. The battle will be one of spears versus magic. What Kain has as an advantage is his powerful Jump ability; enabling him to leap high, thus avoiding Renualt's attacks and then to pounce with devastating strikes. These will leave Renualt on the defensive for the entire battle, enduring Jumps while futilely trying to land his own offensive. With the odds stacked in Kain's favor, it's not surprising that Renualt will fall and pave the way to the next round.
