Season 59, Week 2
Rupert Dandrige
(Wild ARMs XF)

Fast Draws have long been feared in the arena, and Mr. Dandridge is finally spreading that fear into Godlike. While his wyrm opponent may be unlike anything Rupert himself has faced before, Rupert isn’t too worried. After all, Iskander Bey should be more than enough to cut through a dragon’s hide, especially with the sheer power of Maximum Risk behind it. Yes, Rupert’s damage only gets more punishing as his vitality decreases, and given Teepo's unimpressive damage for the division, Rupert should have plenty of time to unleash a truly fearsome fast draw. And let’s face it, Teepo isn’t the fastest thing on however many legs Dragons stand on anyways; as you might expect, Rupert’s sword strikes are lightning quick, giving him even more of an edge in this match.

Teepo has been around for a long time. He's seen duty in Heavy, he's seen his Goddess ascend to many a Godlike title. He's seen the rise and fall of all too many warriors in this, the highest, most prestigious division. And yet, it is only in the past few seasons that the denizens of Filgaia have made noise in the colosseums of Godlike. What new strength have they found? What dangerous techniques do they bring? Teepo has an excellent opportunity here to find out. But given Rupert's reputation for fraility, for only becoming truly dangerous as he absorbs more damage, and Teepo's own, typically draconic - and thus huge - durability, Teepo would seem to hold all the advantage he ever had. Perhaps Rupert is just part of a passing phase? Time will tell.
