Season 58, Week 5
Lavos
(Chrono Trigger)

Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar! The battle cry of Lavos is impossible to mistake. Lavos hungers for more than planets nowadays. The creature from the nameless depths of space hungers for a Godlike championship, which it is more than able to get. Lavos's blistering speed is more than enough to run circles around the sluggish Profound Darkness, and Lavos is also one of the few who can claim to be more than a match for PD's brutal offense. The ultimate evil from the Phantasy Star universe will be a nice midnight hour snack for Lavos - after all, he doesn't want to ruin his appetite before the finals!

Lavos has a reputation as a devourer of worlds, which is nice. Really, it's a great talking point on the resume, but it pales in comparison to Profound Darkness, the source of all evil everywhere. Do you think that Lavos even has a chance of standing up to a being by all rights he should be kissing the feet of? Didn't think so. That said, their multi-staged forms are pretty similar in all but sex appeal, but Profound Darkness wins the fight by clearly outslugging Lavos with her feared Megid skill. Lavos will be going down hard, and one can only hope he doesn't upchuck planet pieces on his way to the arena floor.

Due to the arena being closed for repairs, the match will be held in the Edge. Footage will be broadcast and can be viewed remotely in the communal areas.

"Well look who's finally come home. Tsk, tsk."
"Uh, hi mom."
"You never call, you never write, and you never send gifts on Mother's Day. I'm disappointed in you."
"But mom..."
"Don't give that backtalk. 132624 years and your room is still a mess. Now get in there and clean it up."
"Mom, we're supposed to be..."
"Don't you be giving me orders. Those flowers have overrun your room while you've been gone and the smell is disgusting. And when you're done there, you can clean the bathroom."

"Okay, I'm not really surprised those two are related. This is still way up there on the weirdness scale though." remarked Rolf as the camera broadcast Lavos in a apron helping to prepare dinner.
"Wonder if they will remember they have a match scheduled?" inquired Johnny.
"Lavos is already whipped. Besides, this is entertaining." commented Magus in between laughing fits.

Lavos: 16
Profound Darkness: 31

Barubary
You know now that I think about it. Lavos is the only boss I've ever actually solo'd in a game without actually grinding or power leveling or anything. Just sorta went in and kicked it's teeth in. To be fair thats cuse I used Magus who is also a Godlike member.

I digress despite my statement on that Lavos is still pretty much the winner of this round in my eyes. In a one on one fight he's pretty brutally strong. Besides could he always go dream devourer? cuse that was a brutal fight. I tell you what.

LoL
Lavos is slightly complicated, Profound Darkness is more of a Disney villain. While hitting all the wrong bits, Lavos kills her, the end
