Having finally managed another win since her debut Godlike run many, many seasons ago, Lulu isn't letting herself be stopped now. After all, she has a few things to show Wakka on how you play properly in the DL's highest division if he's ever going to win his way up again. Fortunately, Virgil's just the target for the accomplished black sorceress, with his lethal confusion arrows coming up against Lulu's downright stellar evasion, and his piss-poor concrete durability proving fodder for Lulu's lethal doublecast Flare - after all, what can elemental resistances do against blasts of pure, unnatural power? The duty-bound Guardian lady isn't going down this time. |

As the Blue Testament, Virgil has faced many fearsome things. Shion's whining. Jr.'s stupidity. Albedo's angst. Many lesser (and even some better!) men would have broken down in the face of such horrors, but Virgil emerged even stronger. His ability to withstand pain will come quite handy against Lulu’s doublecasted Flares, and will allow him plenty of time in his in speedy Doppelwogel form to bombard her with Shadow Wings until she’s literally stopped. After all his suffering, both at the hands of murderous Realians and at the hands of obnoxious morons, Virgil finally deserves all the luck and glory to come his way in the DL arena! |
