Not ranked revenge part two

The RPG Multiverse is a large place and the well-known Ranked fighters aren't the only duelists out there! Indeed, to rectify the injustice of losing their own tournament, the fighters of Not Ranked are back! For Revenge!

This section will feature a fight under standard DL duelling rules. The only twist is that in each fight, one participant will be chosen from the Not Ranked roster to face off against a random Ranked opponent from the appropriate Division. For a chance at Revenge! After all, just because they're more well-known or come from more popular games doesn't mean that they're -better-! ...Right?

Now is the time for lesser-known duelists to get their chance to shine!

Vayne Carudas Solidor (FF12)
Vayne is no stranger to the preparation time it takes to pull off the diabolical of plans. But his opponent this week is a ranked fighter who's been devising such plans since the creation of her galaxy. Luckily, Vayne has some supernatural help on his side, with the Occluria Venat lending him her full power. While the Profound Darkness may be touted as one of the most durable bosses in the league, Vayne's durability might be even more impressive. It's going to be a long match, but only one of them will prove to be the master of diabolical plans.

Vs. Profound Darkness (PS4)
Defending the Ranked fighters this week is the legendary Profound Darkness of Phantasy Star fame. She held the system of Algol in her grip for thousands of years and she's certainly not going to let a pathetic megalomaniac take her title away! Vayne's damage isn't particularly scary and Profound Darkness' durability is certainly on par with Vayne's. She even has more forms to take advantage of than the Final Fantasy boss. He may have that pesky Venat on his side, but Profound Darkness can take care of her puppet Vayne with ease.

The Ruler of Algol has satiated her taste for destruction once again! Venat may have chosen a powerful ally in Vayne, but the Profound Darkness is used to such trifles. After all, she can send out a Dark Force lackey any time she chooses. Really, the megalomaniac might have been good at taking over countries, but Dark Force had a tendency to take over planets.
