Not Ranked revenge part one- Hugo vs Terra
~Djinnandtonic

Yes, our loyal readers. Not Ranked is returned in a limited fashion here in our bonus match section. This week has one of the finest of Brionac challenging a ranked fighter. Only you can vote and help decides who wins this fight!

Hugo Hewitt

One of Brionac’s best steps up to plate to show the Ranked duelers how it’s done. Selected at random from the sizeable NR roster, Hugo shows that he has luck on his side. Not that he’ll need it! Hugo uses his power System Chronos to attack from within compressed time. That pesky Drifter Raquel may have figured out his weakness, but Hugo is a trained soldier who learns from his mistakes. He’ll use his defense-ignoring Blood Blade Diva to finish off his high-profile opponent before she realizes that her own swordstrikes are useless!

Vs. Terra Branford
Terra’s a bit baffled by all the sudden challenges coming her way in recent days. First there was that world-colliding Dissidia thing, and now she’s stuck dealing with dregs from NR! What’s a godlike half-Esper to do? Fortunately for her, Terra thinks she’s already figured out Hugo’s secret weakness. That’s right: orphans! After all, Hugo was defeated by a group of them last time. And if there’s one thing Terra has in spades, it’s orphans. And if that doesn’t work, there’s always Ultima.

  • Hugo walks all over Terra
  • Terra makes short work of Hugo

Outcome: Terra wins!

Terra’s masterful plan of sending out her beloved orphans to exploit Hugo’s dire weakness didn’t go quite as planned. Sure, he was defeated by a group of orphans before, but there’s a sizeable difference between the parentless highly-trained Drifters from Filgaia and the apocalypse-orphaned children Terra looks after in Kohligen. . .

Hugo was insulted. Picking up one of the orphans as a hostage, he thought to end the match quickly by having Terra withdraw.

His mistake, of course, was touching one of Terra’s precious orphans.
