Return of the Kings
vs.vs vs.vs.vs.

In honor of the movie "Return of the King" coming out, Luca Blight decided it would be fun, being a king himself, to watch other kings kill each other for no reason whatsoever. So he invited six others using persuasive means to the arena, and whoever would win would prove thier kingdom is the best of those particular six.
Edgar Roni Figaro, the lecherous King of the advanced kingdom of Figaro, came in on his new invention, the Steam Powered Chocobo Runner. With his arsenal of tools at his side, his heavy armor giving him high defenses, and solid evasion, he's ready to take on whatever people throw at him.

Albert of Serdio, one of the seven mighty Dragoons who defeated Melbu Frahma in his attempt to release the evil Virage Embryo on the world, was also invited. This King wields his mighty tank-like stats, his long spear, and the green Dragoon Stone which gives him the ability to turn into the mighty Dragoon Warrior, making him even harder to kill.

Edge of Elbana, probably the only King here who has less luck with women than Edgar, comes in hoping to show the power of the Ninja after recently being crowned. Wielding the mighty Masamune and Murasame, his Ninja Magic, high Speed, and seemingly limitless supply of weapons to throw, he definitely has a good chance to win this match.

Then, we have the Man... of... the... Sea, the Desert Pirate, the whip-wielding King of Aveh, Bart Fatima. One of the less popular characters of his game, he intends to up his ratings by proving he can indeed beat the others in thier own game. With his Wild Smile and Deathblows, he plans to show the others that one eye is all you need to win.

Then we have Delita, the "hero" of the Lion War according to the church's records, but lately revealed to be one of those behind some of its insiduous plots. Having married the princess Ovelia and gaining his title as "King" through marriage, as opposed to the other five who all inherited it, Delita comes to prove that his great ability of using others is easily backed up with his skills with his blade, as shown by his bracer Holy Sword Skill aresenal.

Last but not least, we have the youngest King of the group being invited. Young Roan of the Kingdom of Cyrum has come to show that neither size nor age matters in a free-for-all. Having exceptional knowledge for a child of his age, and being well skilled with a dagger despite youth, Roan definitely has what it takes to win this. With his True Dragon Rise and Golden Hammer at his disposal, he is not going down easily.

With this Royal Rumble going on and Luca Blight reffing the match, this is not going to be pretty. The question remains: which country will see the return of their King?

  • Edgar proves that technology is power
  • Albert's Dragoon powers are too much for the others to handle
  • Edge's short temper gets the best of the others
  • Bart's one eye distracts the others long enough to insure victory
  • Delita mananges to have the others kill themselves
  • Roan ends up being too small to be hit, and uses this to his advantage

If there's anything that needs to be remembered about free for alls, it's that they're all about politics. It doesn't matter who's faster, stronger, smarter, or even better, it's all about who's better at not getting attacked, and in getting the best position for the inevitable showdown at the end. Given that Delita was able to do this masterfully against a group containing Vormav Tingel, Dycedarg Beoulve, Cidolfas Orlandu, and Prince Goltana. Now imagine how easy it's gonna be for him to play this group of political halfwits against each other.

Edgar: 6
Albert: 0
Edge: 3
Bart: 0
Delita: 7
Roan: 4
