The Godlike Semi-Finals. Quite a few dream of reaching such heights, but for one plucky dragon named Ryu it's become sort of old hat. He's seen competitors come and go, but even after four Godlike championships he has remained evergreen as a winner in the division. This does mark the first time he'll be squaring off against False Althena, a fighter who has only really gained the respect she deserves recently. She's got killer offense and defense, but this is nothing that Ryu and his dragon forms haven't seen before. He'll be throwing everything but the kitchen sink at False Althena in order to win- and we're fairly sure there has to be at least one gene combination that gives him that sink- but those are the exact things he's built for. Brute force power and winning. |

Dragons? What are dragons trying to do, hoping to stand up to goddesses? Or near-goddesses at least. False Althena will teach the impudent Ryu a lesson for trying to even take her on, instead of forfeiting and acknowledging her beauty like a good puppet! Sure, when Ryu transforms into dragon form, he may be basically impossible to handle even by a god... but luckily for False Althena, Ray should not only have no problems taking out Ryu in a hit, but its lightning-fast speed (pun intended) means he'll get charred before even getting the chance to start hs Accession rites! And even Ryu’s many equip options can’t get him out of this jam for once! False Althena is bound to reach the finals yet again, and that's just a step before finally savoring that championship she deserved for so long! |
Taishyr There are many delicacies that a goddess gets to try, many strange and exotic foods that False Athena got to sample. Clearly convinced that today would be her chance to try a new one, she proceeded to pump Ryu full of voltage until he was well and truly fried, before being gravely notified that, yes, this was her fight, and no, she couldn't eat him. While disappointed that charred newt- er, drake wasn't on the menu, apparently she is on record as saying that she wants to sample "battered bat" next week. Ryu: 21 |
