Everyone's favorite animal cruelty experiment/Aeris Gainsborough stud has made it through to another match. This time he faces a far more formidable opponent, but one that willingly embraces a far stranger type of love than Nanaki was almost forced into. Yep, it's the DL's foremost Man/Sword Love enthusiast, Dekar! Nanaki will approach this match like any sane, rational person would... with fire! Dekar's got solid durability, but his magic defense will be his undoing here against Nanaki's materia, not to mention Dekar plays right into Nanaki's paws concerning his limit moves. Dekar is also slower than molasses, so even though he has healing, he might find himself lagging too far behind for it to matter against Nanaki's relentless onslaught. |

They call him the man who forgot how to lose, but there’s a definite power in positive thinking (…or perhaps gross stupidity, in this case. Sorry, Maya). Nevertheless, Dekar also earned that title because his sheer strength and durability meant that it was in fact unheard of for him to fall - with excellent HP and solid defense to weather blows, it may very well be that not even the most powerful of limits can fell him in a hit. His double-striking Multi-Sword may mean that even though he can’t chip very well, he may crush Red's doggy frame far too quickly for it to matter at all in the long run. Of course, Dekar even has IPs, including easily accessed healing, to back his attacks up, ensuring that any one shot limit is quickly washed away anyways! |
Dunefar It's a little known fact that Lufia 2 characters have limit breaks! In particular, Dekar has a devastating move known as the BlastMaster. In a battle of tough fighters with loads of reserves, it comes down to the last shot. Let's be honest here: Cosmo Memory sucks. BlastMaster kills hordes at once. I think the result is clear.
