Season 53, Week 1
Tempest
(Lunar: Silver Star Story)

Tempest is back and ready to make a mark on Light like the rest of his fellow castmates have for seasons past. His bow and whip ready, the proud warrior is ready to prove his mettle against the best Light has. Unfortunately, he'll have to wait a while for that - Aeris isn't exactly the top tier in Light. Staff whacks won't do much against the plains warrior. With the range advantage, Tempest can run circles around the Cetra, peppering her with arrows and lashes while she tries to fight back. A limit on her end is out- she's not going to get the chance while Tempest pressures her with his deadly blows. Victory awaits - and the promise of greater glory waits in the wings for the skilled young nomad.

Another day, another dollar. It's all in a day's work for Aeri,s as her popularity with the masses once again gets her into yet another DL season. No materia to work her magic stat like in her home world, however, makes Aeris a sad panda. Yet she has managed time and again to hold her own in the Light arena. It speaks for itself that staff beats and limits have enabled her to do that consistently. It speaks of legions of punies and other things best not mentioned ... Let's just say there are worse things out there than Aeris physicals. Forgotten, hidden things. Oh wait, maybe it's best not to mention that. Anyways, a Seal Evil on Tempest and the slugfest will be pretty much won. Easy enough!

The plains warrior stood there calmly. Aeris felt her heart race. "T-Tempest. Are you ready to be beaten?" she called, challengingly.

As the plains warrior looked at her (ohgodthoseeyesthatfacesowarm), Aeris found herself clutching the umbrella tightly. "I... must apologize, Aeris." Tempest(?) cooed. "But I have been deceiving the DL for a long while."

"Deceiving us?" Aeris stuttered.

"Indeed. For my life as Tempest has been but one part. Many women..."

Tempest(?) advanced to Aeris' side, whispering like a feather in her ear.

"...know me as El Chupacabr-"

The resulting glomp from Aeris sent the two sliding across the arena. Judges ruled that since it was Tempest's charm effect, he was the winner.

They also ruled that he'd have to wear a bag over his face to prevent this sort of thing from happening ever again.
