Season 53, Week 1
Souji Seta
(Persona 4)

Lots of Godlikes have been waiting to see Yuna get her comeuppance. Her long line of summons and tricks have cheesed out many a contender for the title of Godlike Champion, but it's finally time for Yuna to meet her match in Souji Seta, the man of a thousand Persona himself! Like an alchemist, he can produce the proper counter to any opponent with his astounding versatility, and Yuna's paltry selection is no different of a case. A little speed to get the drop, a little Hassou Tobi, or, if Yuna seems set on dodging, a switch to Alice and a Die For Me!, and even the Yuna won't have a chance to summon her parade of powerful pundits. Be it on TV or in it, Souji's not one to choke up under the pressure when everything's on the line, so don't expect any rookie jitters to save Yuna from her quite upsetting first round exit.

In a brutally strong Godlike field, two contestants stand out. One is the high-schooler Souji Seta, hailed as the strongest of the newly ranked fighters in this season. The other is the summoner pilgrim, Yuna, holding an outstanding DL record to her name. And they're about to face each other in a fight to remember. But this is a match Yuna has no intention of losing: as versatile as Souji Seta is with his myriad Personas, Yuna's aeon parade is something even he can't outlast. His best hope, outpacing Yuna and killing her before she goes, can be prove problematic as well: Yuna is quite evasive, which handles Hassou Tobi, and magically resilient, which deals with Souji's magical statuses. Once she calls upon Anima or the Sisters, Seta is in deep. And Yuna will get to prove herself in yet another Godlike field.

So we have the main attraction tonight

In cornor one we have Yuna in cornor two the new comer Souji Seta.

Now I personally have always found Yuna to be overrated, so I have to give the battle to the new comer.

Souji Seta: 40
Yuna: 11

Souji all the way!
