Season 52, Week 5
Zophar
(Lunar 2: Eternal Blue)

The Destroyer smashes everything into elementary particles. It's been the story of many a world, and many a season in the Dueling League. And this little match? This will be no different than the last time these two Godlike champs met. Yuri postures a bit and gets slaughtered by the overwhelming power of Zophar's magic. All of his defensive skills do nothing to slow down the onslaught of overkill magic; all his damage is nothing more than nuisance value against the toughness granted to one who, so very long ago, ascended to a twisted form of Godhood. Yuri's got a lot of wins and boasts the fancy title of Godslayer, but such empty words and thoughts are rendered into dust against the magic that so tore the world of Lunar apart, and the entity who will claim the title of Champion.

Zophar talks too much. Looks like it's time for the DL's resident Godslayer to get him to shut up. Zophar's habit of insulting parties that come to attack him for three rounds is normally a minor strength, as his main body is invincible and his hands can get in a bit of damage. Yuri will turn that against him quite handily, though. The power of the Dark Seraphim is vast alone, but with For Everyone's buff Yuri's ready to take on anyone. Yuri's wrath can easily slay the two hands and then prepare for the main event... with a little Energy Charge. Zophar's main body can only unleash his killer damage slowly once the real fight starts. Sadly for Zophar, once the Dark God becomes vulnerable he'll be eating a giant, Energy Charged fist from a flying avenging angel. A fitting end for the would-be tyrant.

"Spam, spam, wonderful spam~" Yuri sung, taunting Zophar. Calmly, Zophar raised one hand.

"FATE STORM."

"Hah, see? Spam, spam-" And then Yuri was buried under ten tons of "The Life of Brian" DVDs.

Who says Zophar doesn't have something resembling a sense of humor?
